Best Western Hotel Royale

the resteraunt was very good

there was a party in main dining area on saturday evening which finished at 1am we was not informed of this until our arrival.if i had known this i would have booked another hotel.as this was below my room.

Staff very friendly and helpful

Room was cold and damp on arrival - corrected with an additional heater

The girls on reception were very friendly and next morning when I asked directions to a particular shop, they looked it up on the computer and gave me the postal code so I could drive there to the nearest parking place. They were helpful and friendly, welcoming makes a difference. The young lady working in the bar the night before was also very friendly and accommodating

I felt that the room was very cold when we entered, and I was cold during the night. The pillows were very uncomfortable and so was the bed. The meal in the restaurant was good but when I asked for olive oil and balsamic vinegar for my salad I was given white vinegar and red wine vinegar, the waiter did not know what was what.And how I hate making a fuss but felt I very uncomfortable with the couple opposite me looking as though (who does she think she is) it was only olive oil and vinegar. My glass of wine was forgotten for my meal and by the time it was realized it was too late as I did not wish to drink a glass of wine quickly.
