the ease of booking, checking in etc and the location.
it was quite noisy at night.
Location
Close to the Gabba
Breakfast was poor! Run out twice and had to wait 20 minutes for the next lot to be cooked.
Front office staff were extremely help[ful and preofessional
no extraction fans in bathroom
Proximity to Southbank Parklands and the restaurants on Little Stanley Street was good.
Room was very outdated with no view. Stated on booking that it was my husband's birthday treat and there was no acknowledgement of this. Service was non existant. I regret booking a hotel on price. There was a function on in the restaurant so there was no parking available.
Location, price, clean, good bed
Room service. Evening service cold, breakfast, luke warm. Service to our room spoilt our stay!!!!!!!!
Fair appearance and clean. Reasonable proximity to the destinations I needed to go to. Gym nearby.
distance wise, it is perfect.
The towels were not changed even though the room was serviced dailly.
The complementary car park
The convenience. The staff were helpful when required to be. The charges were reasonable.
I had two meals that caused me concern. One was a late night room service (fettuchini/meat balls - this was all that was available) it was almost cold. The other was in the restaurant - chicken kiev - which was served without any camambert/garlic stuffing and turned up as just a breast which was dry and tasteless as were the "mediterranean vegetables" . the table server told me it was because the 'master chef' was not on duty - this ought not to make any difference - if a dish is on the menu then it should be served correctly. Also,i thought the restaurant could have been heated as ,to me, it felt decidedly chilly.
