Pros:Decor, restaurants, location and the shows.
Cons:Service is almost inexistent, there’s no room service, no fridge in the room, not even a bottle of water available to drink when the restaurants are closed. Staff from the hotel is rude (specially the manager), unexperienced and always too busy to attend the clients. They are also more concerned about commissions than serving well the clients: they tell the clients that the closest open mountain to ski is a few steps away so you rent the skis inside the hotel and when you start walking you realize it is almost 1km away (the lift right in front was closed). When we asked for restaurants recommendations in Chamonix they told us to search in the internet for reviews because “it was too personal to someone else recommend”. They tell there is a private bus from Les Houches back in the hotel when the mountain closes but we waited for 40min at the bus stop and nobody showed up.
