The hotel looked really good from the outside
The shower head contiually dripped. The overhead light in the bathroom did not work. The window was both painted over at the bottom, and the sash ropes were broken at the the top and the window bracketed shut therefore I had to request a fan as the room had no air. The mattress to small for its frame. Breakfast was poor, no fresh fruit, staff more interested in the young builders than their other guests

Breakfast was very good
Room was poor and not worth the money, however, there was a note to say that it was under new ownership and gradually being refurbed, I think they should discount the rooms. My room was poor and so was my Father's room with whom I was travelling. Whilst I am saying to to a re-visit as we stay in Chester on a regular basis I would be interested to see how the hotel changes over time.
