Lovely cosy bed. Sparkly clean. Fab breakfast
right on bus line to/from airport, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was great selection and service, location was also good for walking to attractions and restaurants, bar was a fun walk back into time with a intimate beer garden.
bathroom had black bold, shower head or water pressure needed some work.
Dublin marathon
The hotels location was excellent. Connelly station right across the street. Temple bar approximately 20-25 minute walk or take the Lucas.
descent accommodations for the price
The common areas very clean, cozy and updated. The staff very accommodating with extremely early check in. Great areas to relax. The room we stayed in was very small and had not been upgraded. Not a room they would picture on website.
Our rooms had to be changed because of water damage at weekend but we were more than satisfied with the change and the way the hotel staff dealt with the matter. Hotel meal was nice and the entertainment good.
We got a free room upgrade, the staff were friendly and we loved the big comfy bed. Was very handy to get to and on site parking was great!
The floors were very creaky and the walls extremely thin as we could hear people in the surrounding rooms!
The rooms were lovely and very comfortable
The hotel was well sited and just what we wanted
The room we were given was next to the lift and the railway ran right passed the window.Although they didn't cause too much trouble I would think twice about booking your hotel another time
Nothing apart from the friendly staff and the memory foam matress which gave me a rash and skin allergy!
From the moment we went into the hotel the smell of damp musky air took the breath from us. Upon first entering the hotel it seemed pretty ok for the price that we were paying but as we entered our room how wrong were we. Middle of November with freezing tempetures outside and the window in the room open, took about an hour to heat with 'hot' air conditioning which i think was bringing in the air from the smoke room come beer garden so therfore we were choked with the fumes. The dust and dirt that was in the bedroom floor carpet was unreal considering there was 1 asthma suferer and due to this we couldnt really stay in the room too long. The bathroom was the same. And to end the so called bar downstairs--at your own risk enter!
Excellent food at both breakfast and dinner and comfotable room
I know it's a public bar but the general behaviour, especially the bad language being used by some of the customers, was not what you would expect in a hotel bar. Perhaps a few words in a few ears might help make visiting the bar a more pleasant experience for hotel guests. By the way, the bar staff were very friendly and attentive.
Convenient to city centre, fabulous clean modern rooms, helpful staff
Noisy, by railway line
I liked the convenience of the location and the receptionist when checking in and out was very polite and courtious and the place was spotless.
I found the night porter to be very rude and unhelpful. We arrived back to the hotel just after 2am and when we enquired about the residents bar we were told in no uncertain terms that it was closed and that it wasn't his problem. I wasn't the only guest to think this. I cant understand how the residents bar closes before all the nightclubs in the surrounding area.
friendly staff, great location
Accmodation was really nice
Well the tv did not work and vi reported itc to reception twicec asa matter of fact then I use my own innotive which I know was wrong and got terrible abuse from the staff
