Cons (-) Rooms are tiny and slightly out of date.
Pros (+) Service was always friendly, prompt and efficient. The hotel is also quiet and great for relaxing - away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Waikiki. The beautiful Aquarium is just a few steps away. Do not forget to get your breakfast or other meal at the beautiful ocean-front restaurant.
Pros (+) This hotel is ocean front property. They contacted me days prior my arrival to inquire about my accommodations and special requests. I mentioned how I would be getting married during my stay. I was upgrade to a room with a beautiful view free of charge. The room service is quick and food is delicious. I really enjoyed my time there :D
Cons (-) There was some construction going on during the day time. It was loud and caused dust inside the hotel.
Pros (+) Location was perfect, felt like a place the locals go and was still close enough to the busy tourist areas, that you can walk.
Pros (+) best parts - location truly beachfront. staff, RON in particular. He went out of his way to give us a lift to relatives in Salt Lake. Thanks again Ron! Dinner was great (a little pricey, but what's not in Waikiki)... quick service from William- Thanks William.
Cons (-) Room was quite small, nice size bed, no room for side tables, just enough to squeeze out of bed and into the bathroom or out the room. TV and wifi quite bad! TV often freezes, lots of strong wifi addresses but cannot connect to them only the weak ones and then get disconnected every now and then.
Pros (+) fantastic views! room service food was excellent and fast. friendly and helpful staff.
Cons (-) one thing they must improve is to let guests know that in order for the AC to work, all sliding glass doors must be fully closed - if left ajar the AC shuts off.
