Overall condition of room and hotel. Cleanliness at entrance.: there was smell of urine throughout our stay
it's a great location with small but functional rooms
no frills, but comfortable
Ecellent staff. Very helpful and accomedating, very friendly. Excellent location and great value.
This is a budget hotel (no secret there!), so I was not expecting luxury. What I got was a clean, quiet, comfortable room in a great area of the city. The bathroom was newly remodeled, clean, and the shower was great. The bed was a bit hard, but I slept like a rock every night. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The only problem was the internet--it didn't work. However, after reporting to the front desk clerk that I really needed to send an email, he offered to let me use his personal iphone connection to send the email. I was so grateful! All in all, I would definitely recommend this place if you are traveling in Melbourne on a budget.
Dirty bathroom and room
Value for money - Location and Price
There was no hair dryer - I was dissapointed as I left mine at home, assuming there would be one available
communigation between internet booking and the hotel management
best features about the kingsgate was, location room very clean and comfortable
no access ramp for disable .very difficult to take luggage up the stairs .the resturant looked expensive for location and un inviting .I think there was a cafe up stairs but reception staff didnot make me aware of the features or onsell there hotel to me. so i would spend more money there. considering what is in the area that is the type of food i would focuas on
It has great location, public transport is readily accessible and the staffs are friendly.
There was a false fire alarm that went off early morning which sent everybody scrambling out of the hotel.
The construction work throughout our stay. our room seemed old and dowdy with the smallest tv i have seen , walked past another room around corner and saw into a much better room with lcd and newer decor
Complimentary breakfast was great bonus
Bathroom in room was very dated and small.
Within walking distance of Etihad Stadium & Spencer St. Dfo as well as restaurants.
No hand towel, facewashers, tissues, wineglasses. Rooms dark & severely outdated. Several power outages so exit signs were out too. Dangerous in case of fire! Bar closed. Highly overpriced rooms!
There was made a mistake with my booking. When I came the hotel was fully booked. At reception the manager offered me a basic room and continental breakfast for free. Although I missed the facilities I am used to in a hotelroom ensuite, I appreciated the offer.
The mistake that was made with my booking.
My Daughter and I found the All Seasons Kingsgate comfortable and relaxed. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet at night. At the time that we stayed and because it was in excess of three nights, breaakfast was included and was very good. Because we had felt welcome there, I stayed for one night between a flight from Melbourne and the coach to Albany. I arrived late but was given a very friendly cheerful greeting and an alarm call in the morning. We would happily stay there again.
