Cambria Hotel New York - Times Square

Great Staff! Great Location! Nice Updated Rooms!

The staff was phenomenal! They were always available to handle any requests right away. The front desk staff was extremely knowledgeable & attended to all our needs, the bartender was really great & made fantastic drinks. The engineer & maintenance staff were awesome. The AC was functioning perfectly but due to health issues I needed my room colder than most ever would. The hotel has launched many great Green initiatives & one cuts the AC back to 72 degrees when no one is in the room. The staff fixed the air so it would stay on cold for me all day. The rooms are small but that's just NYC & the rooms made great use of every inch of space. The rooms were very clean, modern, updated, & comfortable. They had a great restaurant & bar area with a patio. We sat every evening & had drinks & appetizers (try the pretzel lollipop cheese fondue!!) while we waited on a load of clothes to wash & dry. Having a washer & dryer in the hotel was great!! The location is fantastic. You can catch the subway right around the corner at 47th St. Station. There is a Starbucks across the street & a nice little park right next door. We enjoyed our coffee there most mornings. The other awesome thing is the famous fleet of various awesome food trucks that park along the street in front of the hotel at lunch time! There was always something delicious to try. Don't miss the little Italian restaurant CiCi's next door, the food was outstanding. Walk a few blocks in the other direction to start your day & have breakfast in Bryant Park & catch the subway there. This hotel is a great home base. It's really close to everything but a block off of Times Square so it's quieter & doesn't have blaring lights shining in in the middle of the night while you're trying to sleep. Definitely would recommend this hotel & it's fantastic staff!

Would have loved a tiny bit more room but it really wasn't an issue.
