Front desk staff was friendly. My room had all of the accommodations I expected for a Courtyard. I received the newspaper every morning -- context: I've stayed at a number of Marriott brands and not all of them consistently brought the newspaper to my door. Small services like this make me want to come back. Breakfast was included in my room rate; food was good (cooked to order), and I felt they offered a variety of hot and cold breakfast options.
The bed seemed very uncomfortable; found myself tossing and turning, though I was quite tired. Because of the restless night's sleep, I was less energetic the next day for work. So, I go to make coffee in-room, and I was SO disappointed to see that the coffee maker didn't look clean (as if it needed to be descaled in the water reservoir). I skipped the in-room coffee (yes, I know that stuff is terrible anyway) and waited for the restaurant to open.
