Lack of info regarding hotel services
After having our car broken into and our luggage a passports stolen I can not recommend this place. The staff had no concern whatsoever for our dilemma. How can a business let their guests be robbed on their property. Don't stay here!!!!! Also, please do not let them say they have a pool. There is none and the property that they say you can use one at is not a Five minute walk. It is a major highway.
Though a bit small, the room was fine for a family of four - especially for the price we paid. Continental breakfast was a plus. Its not super far from the Aurelia bus stop, which was helpful.
This hotel is really far from central Rome, miles west of the Vattican. Definitely not a convenient location for travelers from afar, especially those who arent familiar with the public transportation system. We got lost on the way home one night trying to take the bus - it took us 3 hours to find our way home. Cab drivers dont even know where it is. The hotel staff was super unhelpful in directing us - really, all you need to do is cross the street to the camp grounds to buy a Rome pass (closest place to get it from the hotel, I think) which gives you 3 days unlimited use of the metro and bus systems. Plus the staff at the camp grounds were way nicer and more helpful.
It was clean, breakfast offered was fine. Price reasonale.
It was farther from city/Vatican than I expected. Staff did poor job explaining the bus system.
We stayed here before leaving Rome and we had chosen the hotel because it was rather close to the Fumicino airport, it took only app. 15 minutes by taxi (6.30 am). The surroundings of the hotel were quiet. The man at the reception when we arrived was more than helpful; extra thanks to him!
The shower was broken. Unfortunately the breakfast started half an hour after we had left the hotel, so no breakfast for us...
