Pros (+) Proximity to center hub of food, grocery and walking distance to lake and pet friendly. New upgrades inside and out ensure I will continue to stay here for my yearly visit.

Pros (+) First time in Tahoe, Went with the cheapest place my guy and i could find, But turns out: great value for location. We walked to the beach and to the shops/lifts and casinos. Staff was very friendly. Had both a regular king and also a suite with fireplace and jacuzzi (also for a good deal). Unless you're just super picky about not having somewhat dated decor or your breakfast, I wouldn't stay anyw...
Cons (-) What you read about the basic breakfast is true, but the rooms come with a fridge. To improve: Getting a toaster for some bagels/breads would be nice to carb up for a day on the slopes.

Pros (+) Short walk to Heavenly's gondola and the folks are friendly. However, the maintenance is lacking and the buildings/amenities are dated. Breakfast is fruit, donut, and coffee; wifi is minimally useful. Hot tub was nice after a day on the slopes. Good for the price.
