The beautiful room, grounds, botanic gardens & great food!
Good for a weekend getaway with family in Tucson
Very nice property and most of the staff were super-friendly and helpful. Easy to waste away a couple of days poolside while the kids swim.
Lost of confusion regarding my Kayak reservation. We paid extra for a room with a mountain view and were charged for it, but the hotel was never informed, so I had to sort that out and we had to move rooms. Also still disputing the resort charges that we paid once through Kayak and were charged for again by the hotel. Had an issue with housekeeping. Our little one had an accident on the bath mat before we could get him into the tub. We wadded up the bath mat along with the dirty towels and placed them in a pile on the floor for housekeeping to replace. They put the same bath mat back in place, which was gross. Finally, the pool bar was understaffed for the Memorial day weekend- two people making drinks for over 200. They were grumpy and were not able to keep track of who was next waiting in line. The honor system did not work it led to a lot of frustration. Plus, there was a drunk guy at the bar that was harassing people as they came up to order. Some of it had unacceptable sexual and racial tones. He should have been cut off and 86'd by the staff, but instead was allowed to continue to drink and be obnoxious.
Beautiful property, especially the back with a pool that allows for star gazing at night and some short hiking trails. Room and bath were spacious and clean. The cleaning staff are extremely courteous in the morning.
Keep in mind that if you want to take a bath in the oversized tub that it takes 30-60 minutes to fill. The resort fee should just be included in the hotel price instead of as a separate fee (that applies to everyone) as these fees make it feel that they are nickling-and-diming, which should not be the impression a high end hotel wants to leave. The counter ladies were efficient but did have a snobbish air. The resturant food seemed to be fried/heated frozen food, as opposed to freshly prepared.
Great package thru American Express
Resort fee- didn’t use many of the facilities.
Loved this place
Everything it was a beautiful hotel with beautiful views
Awesome place to get away!
Everything about this place was great!
A beautiful desert setting. Attractive and clean. The pool was very warm. Highly recommended.
Incredibly friendly, professional and efficient staff ! Beautiful desert setting adjacent to the Ventana Canyon hiking trail. Amazing walk to a beautiful waterfall on the property. We will be back again!
With the exception of the Flying V restaurant the food was subpar. Waitstaff at pool were incompetent.
Staff was friendly and helpful at every turn.
The facilities were beautiful. However, the cost was high to stay there. The trails, golf courses and restaurants were great. We enjoyed our stay.
The family pool right outside the main building has no "closing time". Now, we were there during spring break; however, individuals including children were still out playing "very loudly" in the pool at 1:30 a.m. You received many complaints while we were there but it continued the entire time of our stay. That should be corrected. You should not be a major resort with pools that do not have closing hours and quiet time. Also, on our bill at checkout was a $25.00 charge plus $3.01 tax for everytime we charged to our room. This is ridiculous and was never disclosed to us when we checked in. I could have used my credit card and not been charged.
A very nice Tucson hotel
This is a very nice hotel, with a great location in the foothills. The service was excellent and facility was very well taken care of. The pool area could have been a bigger with more accommodations, as it filled up with no room for someone not getting down early and claiming spots. Not ideal for people wanting to be active then relax by the pool.
