Pros:Love the hotel. Staff is always professional. Rooms are always clean and comfy.
Cons:My only minor complaint is that you cannot get a snack in the evening only room service.

Pros:Quiet and comfortable bed
Cons:Maids skipped room after worked in room until 1.30 pm; charge for internet which is ridiculous in today’s day and age- signed up for Marriot Rewards to get it taken off bill but still had to ask at check out to have removed from bill

Pros:The room was well-priced for the area. Safe, walkable distance to the NSF, which was my destination, but also to several restaurants (chain and otherwise) and close to downtown. The room was large, with a chaise lounge chair and lamp beside the king bed with plenty of space around it. The view was awful, the back alley next door and concrete, but I really like that you can choose to pay less if the view doesn't matter to you. The room was well-cleaned and the option to skip daily cleaning is rewarded with either bonus points in the hotel's reward system or a $5 credit toward the Starbucks next door.
Cons:Could not get anyone to answer the "service" direct line; called three times between 7 pm and 7:45 pm before I could get room service ordered. Had it not been pouring out and if I hadn't been exhausted from business meetings, I would have walked to a nearby chain and gotten takeout. When my food came - almost an hour later - the soup was barely warm and the fries were cold, hard, and un-edible. No milk or sugar for the tea I ordered and when I called back to ask if some milk could be sent up, the hotel staffperson blamed me for not having asked for it when I ordered. She said she thought about it, but figured "no one really puts anything in their tea, do they?" Um, YES. I do, which is why I'm calling. Really rude interactions that made me start telling colleagues to stay elsewhere.

Pros:Great rooms, bed and shower. After driving for 12 hours, decided to eat in the restaurant Trademark. Make sure to get the Beer Can Chicken and charred broccoli. It was AWESOME!

Pros:The Westin was the perfect place for me to stay in Alexandria for a recent business meeting. The rate that I paid was very reasonable for the area and for the quality that I expect from the Westin brand. The room—and especially the bed—was very comfortable and essential in getting a peaceful night's sleep. The location of this hotel is great, just a short walk to the King Street Metro station, and a longer but pleasant walk down to the waterfront.
Cons:The downside of this location is that many of the nearby businesses close early since it's primarily a daytime business area. It's necessary to either walk down King Street or explore elsewhere to find things to do or places to eat, especially if you operate on a later schedule. Additionally, I thought the charge for the valet parking was incredibly high and far above what is typically charged for garage parking in Alexandria.

Pros:Adrian Renart, at the front desk, is the ultimate professional and went to great length to provide a memorable guest experience. He took great care in extending my stay giving me a great rate and a few perks. Very pleasant personality indeded. I had a similar experience with the valet parking crew; they always received us with a smile and were extra helpful. Very positive experience overall and will definitely stay there again.

Pros:The hotel was very kind to upgrade us to a suite for our anniversary. The room was beautiful and we enjoyed how comfortable it was.
Cons:We called down for silverware and they never came. The sheets had a few tears in them.
