The hotel has a very dramatic location and was of a high standard
The bed was a little hard and the "suites" or family rooms makes the hotel a popular choice for families with young children.

We chose El Faro because of its location and that it had a fitness room.Very serviceminded staff! Quiet and peaceful. Very nice view. We are very satisfied with our stay there.
It would be great if they played some music in the restaurant at nights. It was very quiet and it felt like we had to "wisper" to each other. The food in the restaurant was very good. If they had some music in the speakers it would feel more "welcome" and I'm sure we had used the restaurant more during our stay. The beds/madrasses were a little hard. There were lots of mosquitos in Sardinia these days and it would be great to be informed that we shouldn't keep the door open at night etc. and use mosquito prevention. We didn't know so we slept with the door open and next morning we had bites all over... The next day we asked in the reception and they gave us instructions about closing the door and the use of a small electrical device.

The access to the sea makes sunbathing and snorkeling a pleasure, the bar has a beautiful terrace, the dinner is excellent.. what to ask more?
