It was my first experience at a hostel ever and I wasnt disappointed at all. The staff is nice and they have a bar open till midnight with games that engage the guests, table tennis, cinema, etc. I had a 6 bed dorm room which was spacious and clean.
The location is outside central Amsterdam so it's about 25 mins each way to and fro.

The place is clean and nice.
The location is very far from everywhere. The sense of the place is more into hotel and not like a hostel. The common area is not comfy and not helping for people to talk to each other. They rent a towel for 5€ and sell a lock for locker for 5 € and take city center tax 2€ per day and they even not in city centre. It's 20 by metro to city center.

“Comfortable beds, lifts are extremely quick, you almost never have to wait. Includes fridge, kitchen with microwave at level -1. You get a card to open the room and kitchen door which is very nicely designed and sturdy. 5 minutes away from a train / bus / metro station called Diemen Zuid. 20 minutes away from Central and 20 minutes away from the airport. Room was cleaned everyday. There is a Lidl 20 minutes away by foot and an Albert Heijn shop (Waitrose equivalent) about 5 minutes away which can be expensive.”
