Great location; great views; charming features; lovely friendly and helpful staff; good value for money

The hotel is great. Spacious rooms with beautiful views. It is a nice touch to maintain old furniture and ceilings. You feel very comfortable with the modern facilities inside the old building.

I'ts not easy to reach the hotel. I reccomend parking the car and walk to the hotel to get the directions. It's better than just driving around Assisi.

The owner of the hotel is hospitable. The ground floor of the hotel is built in 13 century, which meant we actually live in a historic place. But be aware of the time using hot water. Need to avoid peak time; otherwise, the water might be not as warm as you wish.

The location was great. The 3rd floor has great views of the valley. The hotel is nicely decorated and the people friendly and helpful.

The only parking available is in the major parking ramps for Assisi. You can drive up to drop off your luggage but that can be very difficult when the tour busses are in and people clog the streets. I would suggest you park in the guarded underground ramp near Basilica of Saint Francis. It is the closest.

Excellent accommodation in historic building, in central area, also close to St Francis Basilica. Relaxing destination. Would rate it higher than 3 stars.
