We liked the availability of having a large room with comfortable bed and a kitchenette. The location was terrific. Close to restaurants and a Whole Foods and Calvin's supermarket. The hotel was well maintained. All the facilities were in good condition. The exercise room was very nice and had both dumbbells, treadmills, and elliptical machine. The only complaints we have is that the hotel only serviced the room once during our 7 day stay. We asked for fresh towels, soap, etc, at least 3 times and it was not done. The other concern we had was that the breakfast did not include hot items that did not have meat. For those of us on special diets, it was hard to find something warm (except oatmeal or pre-made pancakes) that did not have meat. Egg and cheese sandwiches on bagels would have been nice but all they served was egg, sausage, and cheese on bagel sandwiches.
Pros:My wife and I stayed for one night during a trip related to our move from Florida to Texas. We often prefer Marriott brands when traveling and have rarely been disappointed. We were also accompanied on this stay by our pet Bichon. The staff greeted us warmly and also upgraded our room on arrival. Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff, and a convenient location on our journey all made it a great choice.
Pros:Breakfast was good. best powdered eggs I've ever had. Facilities were good. Located near nice restaurants and bars. Walmart was nearby.
Cons:Bed was too hard and pillows were too hard. Time to replace the bed and the sofa as the apear to have gotten plenty of ware.
