Rooms are clean and location is great.. but no good room service.. if you need room service, you have to tell them many times.. so that they will take initiative... Also they do building projects while hotel guests are trying to enjoy their vacation.. the final verdict is that this is an ok location to stay but definitely not one of the best.. not even close to best... i have to also mention that ...

One caveat, the towel rack in bathroom — which I believe also functions as a warmer — is bolted to wall so close to toilet that it prevents one from being able sit straight. One must sit at angle to use.

Pros (+) It's convenient located, it has a nice arquitecture. The breakfast is complete and the persons very warm. the shower and the water temperature.
Cons (-) too much escalators, ceiling too low, with central heating, you can't control the temperature. I have two rooms (one on the Jacuzzi level is cold and one on the second floor is too hot).

Pros (+) Very close to Bear Mountain. Lovely holiday decorations in the lobby. Big, comfy bed.
Cons (-) Check in at 4pm. Whole place has old lady, perfume scent. Shower didnt drain properly. Dining area too crowded and understaffed. Very likely you won't get any breakfast.

Pros (+) Staff was nice, the rooms were spacious and clean. Also the rooms were very quiet and it was easy to fall asleep. The room had a gas fireplace which was a nice surprise. The included morning breakfast was good, great selection and the service was good.

Cons (-) Women at frontdesk are not very friendly or welcoming. The hotel in the inside looks aweful, gody, outdated, okd fashioned, almost creepy with big chinese vases and tons of tacky chandaliers, horrible paint job......frightening
