Manager is top man
Very friendly staff, helpful and made conversation as well as waited out in the street to welcome guests into the hotel.
Rooms are a little dated but the building is in the process of being renovated.
This was our second time staying at the Vidella hotel we enjoyed it that much the first time we had to go back, the staff are very down to earth and up for a laugh, the hotel is well decorated although the en-suite rooms do let it down, but the beds are very comfortable we had a very good sleep which was important for us as we went to relax. The breakfast is beautiful and fresh, we would love to stay again.
The food in the restaurant was very very good
our room was a good size for 2 adults 2 children and 1 baby, and clean, but the matress on the double bed was just the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on.
verry friendly and helpfull staff
The staff are great. Nothing is too much trouble and they have a really good sense of humour.
The en suite shower room is tiny, just the width of a shower, and if you were to stay for any length of time it might become a problem.
Only stayed one night so difficult to comment in great depth. The room was adequate and thought the foyer area was nice and spacious. Bar area also of substantial size and friendly.
warm, with friendly staff, the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. They had tables in the reception area where you could read a paper. The restaurant/breakfast are was newly kitted out and looked lovely, as was the bar area.
decor was old wlpaper which had been painted over and the bathroom was very 1970s, a shame because both things stuck because of the higher standard elsewher. we were put off by the prices for an evening meal. Over £20.00 for a dinner with sweet, very expensive for what is essentially a bed and breakfast establishment. we had lovely meals out for far less a fw hundred yards away, i think this was reflected in the eveningsas the restaurant was very quiet indeed.
Proximity to the centre of Blackpool was ideal. Within 5mins walking distance, whilst being far enough away to avoid the noise of late night revellers. Staff were friendly, in particular the gentleman in charge of serving the breakfast. All in all a reasonably priced, no-frills weekend stay.
Shabby. En suite small and worn out.
Bar area modern , staff as friendly as they come.
