Pros: Absolutely beautiful! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They truly make you feel comfortable! Everything is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was more food than I imagined.
Cons: The location is a 3 minute walk to downtown, but there is a beautiful path to follow or a well maintained sidewalk.
Location The hotel is ideally located in a quiet forest, right in the heart of Breckenridge. It is just 2 blocks from the historical Main Street and can be easily accessed on foot or by private shuttle. A complimentary shuttle service also brings guests to the lifts, shops or dining venues, and the hotel enjoys ski-in access from Peak 8 via the Skyway Skiway and a short walk to the new gondola. Facilities The apartment hotel has a lift and features 97 single rooms. Staffed 24 hours a day, the reception desk makes check-in and check-out easy. A laundry service, a conference room, a business centre and a coin-operated laundry are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Pros: The hotel is a "ski in" but not necessarily a "ski out." It's at least a 10min walk up and down stairs (imagine with gear) to the gondola. It's the same path you take to town but it's poorly lit at night.

Pros: Everything was awesome. Although off the beaten path of the village it's worth it. The free shuttle to town and the mountain was very helpful.
Cons: The gps directions don't work because of the vertical gain/switch backs. Signage Could be better. A very minor issue compared to what you get.

Pros: The staff was extremely friendly, but there needed to be more of them! The front desk never answered the phone, because they were either taking bags to rooms or running other errands for guests. Old style charm. Loved being out of busy town, with easy shuttle access when needed.
Cons: Paid for a large room w/mountain view, got a small room w/ just an OK view. Lots of rooms have great rooms, I just wasn't given one of them. Since I paid for it, I felt I should have received a discount since I didn't receive one. When checking out another couple was given opportunity to select a room, wish they would have given me that opportunity. Restaurant needs a lot of work! Slow, slow, slow, and mediocre.

Pros: This hotel isn't on the mountain but they make up for it with a free shuttle that they run from 8am until 12 midnight. Is all you have to do is walk to the lobby and tell them where you wanna go and they'll take you anywhere. When you're done just use the number the driver gives you and he'll pick you up. We checked out before we went skiing and they had no problem letting us leave our car and taking us to and from the mountain. They also have an awesome restaurant downstairs that should definitely be checked out if you stay there. The room was really cool. You can tell the hotel has old bones, but it has modern upgrades which make it really enjoyable. Beds were great, balcony was awesome to drink a cup of coffee on and watch the sunrise. Really cool hotel and probably the best value in Breck.
Cons: I wish the breakfast was better. They had cereal, yogurt and a waffle maker. For a day that I'm going to be on the mountain all day I would like to have some hot food, at least scrambled eggs and some meat.

Pros: It was a great cottage feel to the room, and the breakfast was awesome for a free breakfast. Also the hot tub was out side which was beautiful to sit in after a day of snowboarding. Very cozy and exactly what i wanted, i would stay there again.

Pros: Got what we paid for. Two nights stay at a hotel. Met expectations as far as quality goes and it is always nicer to put money into small businesses instead of a big chain. Happy with the stay overall and will love to come back in the future!
Cons: Not a huge fan that there wasn't any climate control. The two days we were there, it was a little stuffy because the weather was so nice and the best we could do was open a window. The continental breakfast didn't really have any protein; cinnamon rolls, toast, bagels, biscuits and gravy, cereal. Would recommend some ham or bacon at least. Lastly, one of the owners/managers got a little snippy with one of my bandmates about parking and his hitch being on the sidewalk. She wasn't in the wrong, but there could have been a little more diplomacy.

Cons: The peeling paint, the missing moulding, the nasty wall heater, the mildew smell, the paper thin walls so you could hear everything in the rooms on both sides. Nothing....I repeat, nothing about this dump is pleasant. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car before you stay here. I woke up at 3:30 AM because of TV noise from the room next door and left at 4 AM. That's how pathetic this dump is.

Pros: Very clean!! Real fire burning in the fireplace, large lobby with board games friendly dog Jesse and a warm inviting atmosphere. The free breakfast was great everything homemade. Love you can pull your car up in front of your door. Very close to Breck, short drive to Frisco and a short drive to Dillon and Silverthorne. 25 miles to Vail. As soon as you walked in the room it smelled clean, the sheets and bedding and towels smelled super clean each day. Appreciated the warmth of the room and the ability to adjust the heat if need be especially on these cold nights. Thank you again for your hospitality. Also appreciated the large table in room table compared with most hotel tables. Wi-Fi worked great and lots of television channels.

Pros: I have stayed 3 t imes now. It is a darling, quaint little cabin-like room with a tiny bathroom, but it has all you need. Cute bedding, great cable and it's cozy. I have stayed in the Winter and the summer - I think it's a very good value and perfectly located between Breck and Frisco. :) It's not luxury, but it's not supposed to be and the owners/office staff are really cool people. I will be back!

Pros: It was cheaper than the rest of the overpriced hotels in Breck. But after we saw the old carpet and amenities in the room and the very old mattress with a egg crate on top we decided it was also overpriced.
Cons: Door lock was ify at best. Carpet was about 20 years old as well as the mattress. The room smelled so strong of air freshener it burned our nose. Like they were covering something up.

Cons: The place was a tad run down and needs some renovations. The photographs of the rooms and amenities were a bit deceiving. Most staff was a bit off-putting and didn't seem very friendly. They mentioned recycling but had no bin or bag in our room under the sink like they mentioned. None of the information was very clear as to where to wait for the shuttle, where certain amenities were, etc. You would think the front desk would do a quick briefing on the map and amenities while you checked in but they did not.

Pros: Ski in/out was the best ever. Run their own shuttle. Have local free ski storage. Nice staff. Probably some of the best pizza in Breck at the deli shop on Copper Top 2. And one of the best values for saving money on food.
Cons: Expected, but the parking garage is an additional $10 a day. The internet was 0.25 mbs, which is terrible for a young couple who typically stream movies during the evening. We couldn't even browse facebook is was so slow.

Pros: the location simply cant be beat. we grabbed our gear and walked about 300ft to the chair lift, strapped in, and we were off and running.
Cons: obscenely expensive considering the facilities. the entire building is stuck in the 70's and 80's. needs a remodel badly! awful furniture. beds/mattresses were uncomfortable and lumpy. poor shower pressure. toilets and sinks all clogged multiple times during our stay. no mini bar. the living room had blinds from the 80s that didnt even keep light out, so it was extremely bright first thing in the morning. patio had snow built up on it when we checked in, called maintenance to fix it, never happened. the cleaning staff literally does not speak 1 word of english. not even 1 word, like hello. nothing. paid $1500/night for a 2 bedroom suite during long weekend, not worth even 1/3 of that. only 1 elevator servicing each building frrom the A-Lobby. huge lines of people waiting for elevators following the ski day. extremely slow and inefficient.

Pros: We stayed in the 4th building on the 8th floor over-looking the valley in a studio. It was a great view! It took us a little longer to get our room and they didn't have the room that we originally booked so they upgraded us. ( we were skiing so there was no rush to get into our room) The staff was friendly and the shuttle was very quick. The rooms were cozy and I loved having a balcony and little kitchen area. It also had a great big bathtub in its own room which was a little strange but it was nice after a long day of skiing. It was so quiet! The last place we stayed at we could hear everything but it was so peaceful and quiet, we had a great night sleep in our comfy bed!
Cons: The parking was a little tricky and navigating around the actual resort was a little strange and hard to get around. The room was a little dated but it was cozy. There wasn't a fireplace but the thermostat worked well and it didn't get too stuffy or hot. The bathtub room was very 80s but it was actually really nice and very much needed after a long day.

Pros: You can step out and be on the Peak 9 lifts in minutes. You are 5-10 min walk to Main St/Park which has lots of nice places. In addition, theres a free shuttle to town, which we used to go to an amazing restaurant and then called and were picked up within minutes! Pros: Great location, friendly staff. I have stayed here a few times and even with the few minor drawbacks I would recommend the resort to others.
Cons: They do charge an extra fee when you get there which is not disclosed when purchasing via Kayak. They require you to valet your vehicle since it is a private garage which could add to your time to come and go. For me that was not a problem since I was able to walk almost everywhere I wanted to go. I stayed in the summer and the room I was given was quite warm since there was no A/C but I just opened a window and it cooled off. Since this hotel is primarily occupied in the winter for ski season I guess that isn't a high priority.

How is that possible when hotels like Hampton, Hilton, Marriott, etc., have their act together much better?

Cons: If you stay at the 7th floor and up, you need to take a long walk to the elevator, take it up to the 6th floor, walk again to the other side of the hotel, take a second elevator to your floor and walk again to your room. I don't consider such a journey to my room as "luxury".

Pros: Proximity to slopes, ski valet to slopes, shuttle service to Main Street Breckenridge. Overall standard hotel. great price for location.
Cons: Room was a little warm even with the heat turned down. Slight buzzing/rattle sound from one of the ceiling sprinklers. Breakfast buffet was overpriced at $25 and the coffee/snack bar was also very expensive.
