Maison Bousson Bed & Breakfast

Accommodation is new, fresh and very clean. Beautiful place, lots of personal touches and in room facilities. The owner is very friendly and personable without being over bearing. Accommodation is very private and spacious for an inner city location and a guest house. Breakfast is fab, unusual in a very good way, very satisfying (you won't need lunch) and very reasonably priced (under 20 euros p/p p/day) so well worth a try. Overall a real gem amid a lot of over priced old hotels and guest houses in the centre.

Not really any negatives. It is a fair step into the centre so make sure your footwear is up to walking in but if you're relatively fit it's not an onerous walk and there's plenty of nice architecture to look at along the way.

We absolutely adored our stay here. The pictures don't do it enough justice, the hotel is beautiful and our suite took my breath away. It was so nicely decorated, and pristine clean, just what we wanted! Sofia made us feel so welcome, she was very attentive and accomodating. Our rooms were tidied every day, which was a nice surprise. We didn't have the breakfast during our stay but i'm sure that would have been lovely too. The place is about ten minutes walk from the main square of Bruges, but the walk there is so nice that you don't notice the time flying by! We had an absolutely wonderful time there, I think we will find it very hard to find a place to beat it any time soon! I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anybody.

The beds were very comfortable but the use of two single mattresses instead of one double mattress was a little annoying as one tends to sink into the space between the two. I think this may be a continental thing as we experienced the same thing in Brussels too. It was by no means a big issue, but is just something to think about.

Sophia made us feel completely at home, the accommodation and facilites were excellent, and the food was outstanding. We were very happy here and are already planning to come back.

We had a perfect welcome! The owners are friendly and dedicated people who arranged everything till the little details.

A good location only 10 mins walk from the centre of Bruge. Spacious and perfectly presented room.

The only bad point was the weather was too cold to try the pool.
