The resort was nice and the weather was great (low humidity). We actually upgraded to the VIP all inclusive package but it is not a true all inclusive. There are some restaurants you have to pay extra ($40 per person at steak restaurant and there are still items on the menu that an extra charge). To get a cabana on the beach was $40/day. We had fun but if you are expecting an all inclusive like the Yucatán you will be disappointed. You also can’t swim in the ocean. The waves are too rough. They won’t let you get close to the water. Very nice place and Hugo the activities guy was great. They just need to be more upfront with their marketing.

Pros:I stayed during Thanksgiving weekend. Happy that this hotel is one of the few four or five stars hotel that opened after Hurricane during Thanksgiving. Facial was great. They used very nice product on me. Wireless connection was fine. Because this is not a big hotel, and not having a lot of activities organized by the hotel, the wi fi becomes important.
Cons:I am disappointed as this hotel being rated at 4-5 stars in many web sites. The room is very small. There were swimming pools but they were so cold that noone wanted to go into them. And yet the weather was so hot. There were just not enough umbellas next to the swimming pools. One can easily get sun burn if you do not keep putting sunblocks every hour. It was not very fun when it was so hot when water in the pools were so cold. Restaurants service was very slow. We ordered breakfast room service one morning. It never came. For your reference, all of my ratings ( cleaniness, comfort, facilities, location etc) are rated against all other 4 or 5 stars all inclusive hotels i stayed in Caribean.
