We were transferred to the older Solmar Resort to quarantine for Covid. The staff was very nice, but the rooms are very old, the TVs are about 32" wide and hang from the ceiling, so you can only watch them when you're laying down in bed. There wasn't even a chair in my room I could use. The room service food was plentiful, but not very flavorful and they have very few healthy items on the menu. Ho...

Cons (-) The staff in the front office were incredibly rude to myself and family. They did not have a room for us and instead of being apologetic, described it as “our lucky day.” They tried to send us to their sister hotel, 20 minutes away, away from the beach and town.
