the building and the quite lovely pool!
Our first impression was that we picked the nicest property in town - and it remained that way. An old villa has been converted to a hotel tastefully and with a lot of personal influence. We liked the small pool and the beautiful garden with lots of nice sitting areas. On the day that we left they closed the place for the season and we never would have noticed until we checked out. Unfortunately, they do not serve dinner anymore. An ideal place to enjoy a vacation by the sea and still have plenty of opportunities to visit Lucca, Pisa and other interesting towns in the area.
Even though it's close to the beaches, the hotel is facing the main road. The garden blocks the view to the road but you get the noise of traffic nonetheless. It was ok for this time of the year, but it must be a pain during main season.
Very helpful attentive staff. Very clean. Good service.
We were in Tuscany for 2 weeks and wanted a relaxing one-night stay before Malpensa. We loved room, staff, location, and fabulous breakfast! We hope to return one day.
Would be nice to have evening small meal selection in hotel so not necessary to wait for 8pm restaurant openings when traveling, tired, and leaving early a.m.
Beautiful location, spacious clean rooms, friendly staff. Would definetly return to this hotel.
The Hotel Europa is not an ordinary building, but is distinguishable firstly by its charm, emanating from its Liberty style and by its historic significance: It was used to be the residence of the prominent Cardinal.
Built in 1880 and renovated in the year 2000 the hotel consists of 28 rooms equipped with air conditioning, telephone, Led TV with satellite, minibar, hairdryer and safe.
The Versilia beach is just across the road, at 70 meters (220ft.) from the hotel.
The intimate and tranquil swimming pool area is an excellent alternative to the beach and with an exclusive bar service.
The new modern pier of Lido di Camaiore is just 10 minute walk away, on the elegant promenade full of shops, bars and charming restaurants.
The hotel offers free bicycles to enjoy the surroundings and to get almost everywhere: in facts, Lido has an excellent bicycle track which extends all along the Versilia coast.
The reception staff is at the guest’s complete disposal and will do all possible to make your stay comfortable: they will be happy to book an excellent restaurant, to suggest an excursion on the sea, a trip on the inland or a tour in Pisa, Florence, Lucca, Siena, etc
We also offer a rich breakfast suitable for celiacs and vegans too!
The free private CCTV parking can accommodate all guest vehicles, with the help of the hotel staff.
