The inn is close to the boardwalk, so great location. However, our shower door was missing. We informed the office staff and they told us the hotel owner/manager was aware of this and had placed an order for a new door. When we asked to move rooms, they said they were all booked and didn't offer us any type of compensation or room discount. Hence, the owner/manager was aware of the issue but booke...

I booked and prepaid this room over 6 weeks prior to arriving. This was booked through Traveluro, via kayak. When we arrived to the hotel, they said they were overbooked and sent us to a hotel in town (not on the beach). No one called or emailed in advance. This was a surprise when we arrived. When we called traveluro, they stated their “escalation” team would be contacting the GM to get our money...

Pros (+) The fireplace and location were amazing. pet friendly (with fee of 25 is reasonable) is also amazing!!
Cons (-) breakfast could be improved. didn't love the food, and the fruit cup I received seemed like it may have been bad!

Cons (-) The fireplace made a loud clicking noise every time it came on during the night. It is the heater for the room so if you want it warm, you have to keep it on. It woke me every time, sadly because I'm a light sleeper.

Pros (+) the location was very good, parking was easy, and we were given the room we requested. I did not get to see/use the pool as I arrived too late and left early. But it was nice that there was a pool.
Cons (-) The room was not as comfortable as I would have hoped at that price. Beds were fairly hard, bedding was cheap feeling. The room was extremely hot, but there was no air conditioning. We opened the windows, but there were no screens, so we had to risk bugs. The walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbors.
