Great location! Staff was very helpful.

Lack of shower curtain!

Nothing really to complain at all! Friendly helpful staff who speak English (considering the main languages here are Czech, German and Russian, this no small feat!), the location is perfect and the rooms have a lovely authentic charm without being twee or cramped. Lovely hotel, very romantic.

Not the most luxurious hotel, doesn't have its own spa facilities, but the other features more than make up for this, and is more authentic if that is what you want. Our bed had twin mattresses (which is quite normal in the Czech Republic) and the breakfast area is in an atrium area of the hotel so we could hear a bit of the morning activities from our room, but nothing to bother us.

The staff went out of their way to help us and make our stay in Karlovy Vary a memorable one.

The location is excellent - central, with easy walking access to all the features of the old city and spa of Karlovy Vary; the management and staff are very friendly, helpful, informative and accommodating; the restaurant is first class; and parking is free, in the street outside!

We ran out of hot water during the evening and there was none the following morning and whilst they appologised I rather expected a reduction in the room rate.
