A charming property in a beautiful quiet location
The rooms are small, but quite nice and charming. You will be spending most of your time outside anyway. The location is perfect. The village is quiet and only 10 minutes (by car) from Chamonix. I also enjoyed breakfast buffet. The internet connection can be a bit choppy but fast enough for a Skype call and great for email. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g187261-d636260-r361425228-Hotel_Beausoleil-Chamonix_Haute_Savoie_Rhone_Alpes.html#
The hotel may be difficult to access without a car. This is also not a place for people seeking luxury.
Good cooking and comfortable room.
Only one week point is to walk up to the hotel from Le Lavancher bus stop. I can do so easily, but generally we need something transportation.
Clean, Friendly, good food, nice views, quiet location
Icy path at front - just get it cleared before someone breaks a leg. Location is ok -but only if you have a car. A shuttle bus to the lift would attract more customers.
Booking.com informed me that my creditcard will be not charged but the hotel sent me this info some days before my arrival: Deposit : As agreed, we charged your credit card number for the amount of 30% of the stay = 42,00 EUROS as a deposit. Refundable amount according to our cancellation policy, to see on our website.
Staff at the hotel was very kind and cooperative during our whole stay.
Lovely place, very quiet, nice terrace with great views.
My room was not bigger than a broom cupboard and the bathroom smaller than the one I got onboard on a ship (EasyCruise). At dinner time strong smells of food coming from the kitchen or dining room downstairs invaded my room. The walls are thinner than cigarette paper, the noise during the night was very disturbing, I could hear people talking, coughing, walking… WiFi signal very weak, I could only pick it up near the door of the room or in the corridor. But the icing on the cake was the weird toilet without water and equipped with a waste disposal unit operated by a thunderous engine that roared each time I flushed.
We used this hotel for just one night on our way through the Alps. Friendly and welcoming staff in a beautiful location. The room was clean and very homely, we would have liked to stay longer and I am sure that we will return.
As a small and privately run hotel, access is granted at any time (using your room key to get in to the hotel) this is mainly a positive point (in my opinion) but some squeaky floorboards could wake any light sleepers...
Great hospitality, lovely location, nice rooms with lovely view, great breakfast, very good facilities with ski room and ski pass service - overall above standard expected for a 2 star hotel
Walls were very thin - you could hear everything outside the room and in the room next door!
the woman in reception is realy very helpful
it is very far from the train station. we got there by taxi and it took us 20 euros!! but if you want get there by car, it would be a nice choice
The hotel is well situated between Chamonix and Argentiere. Great views of Mont Blanc.
Very nice owners, very good dinner.
Rooms rather small
