The grandkids loved the train engine!
The sleeping cars are old and need updating. Phone did not work. The pool area is nice, but the pool itself disappoints.
Staff was quick and efficient checking us in and giving directions. The Terminal brewery next door was a great stop.
We would recommend this to anyone and habe
The pizza made-to-order and great.... we took it into the bar and had a beverage with it there !! There was history all around.
Not enough time to see what was offered on site
Pretty attraction, but the hotel was unpleasant
The grounds were a sight to see, especially decked out for Christmas -- pretty gardens, ice skating, beautiful main building with its restored foyer -- all near Warehouse Row and right beside the free electric shuttle buses.
The non-train-car rooms were outdated, with extremely thin doors and walls, and the hardest beds I've ever slept on - the floor would at least have been supportive while being just as hard. No complementary breakfast; the breakfast buffet, while open, is $10/person plus beverages and tip.
Great location in Chattanooga and beautiful gardens and hotel facilities.
The buffet breakfast was very poor. The food was slightly cold and tasted stale with very little variety for a "buffet".
Go anywhere else. Waste of money.
Nice location. Nice landscaping
Rooms are old and dirty. The shower had hair sitting in the bottom of the drain upon our arrival. The bed was very uncomfortable. The room walls must be made of paper because noise carries very well, and the other guests were loud. My wife and I were barely able to get any sleep as people were running through the halls until 2am. The Choo Choo is interesting, and the location is nice, but I would not stay here again if it was the only hotel in town.
Price was decent and the location was good being I was going to be in downtown the entire trip. Staff was nice and helpful.
Standard room had a strange smell to it, like mildew or something. Random, cheap pictures of train related images on the walls. I bought a candy bar from the machine and just the heat from the machine itself made the bar melt and not really worth eating.
Great location in fun area. Front desk staff was pleasant when we arrived. Patio outside the room.
Very run down facilities. Black mold around the air vent, peeling paint in the room. Seemed dingy overall. They didn't tell us about the $7 parking fee until we checked out. Very overpriced for the condition and quality of the hotel. (We paid $121)
Pimple Juice on the mirror
Location. Easy to get on the bus and get anywhere
It was like staying in a motel. The beds were awful....We woke up early just to get out of there. Pimple juice on the mirror from a previous guest...everything seemed to be falling apart...just needs a face lift...Wish I had spent the extra 30 bucks to stay somewhere else but since the wedding we were attending was in the hotel seemed like the best option.
The historic site was really interesting. Loved seeing the old trains and the depot. Dinner in the pizza rail car was fun. Very unique setup!
Breakfast buffet closed one hour earlier than published on their website. Normal room prices are too high...wouldn't have stayed without the deal through Kayak. They charge an extra $7 per day for parking, which always bugs me at a hotel...they know you have to park so it really shouldn't be an extra charge in my opinion.
Location and music venue
It was really rundown And the Front desk was not very helpful.
The location and concert venues
It was very rundown and overpriced for what it was. The front desk was very unhelpful
