The location is great, and the hotel has an architectural charm. Pool was fine but it was simply too cold to enjoy it. Breakfast was copious but the breakfast room looked rather cavernous. The staff was very friendly and helpful
We had taken a 'standard room'. I cannot compare really, but I saw that most rooms had a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the sparse sun. Our room had a very small terrace that overlooked roofs only - and not the nicest ones. The room was quite cold (but the weather was cold too), and the lights were poor. Internet connection was a problem: I had to reconnect at least 4 times a day.
We booked quite a while ago and got a free upgrade to the honeymoon suite on arrival. The room was great and we really enjoyed the hotel and lovely pool during the very busy light festival. The breakfast was OK...but nothing to get too excited about!
Maybe the breakfast could do with some improvement. But the other food we had during our stay was great.
Very Nice staff. Beautifully arranged hotel. We loved the koi's swimming in front of our room. Great breakfast. Small but nice pool. At night with the lights on it's even prettier! Everything very clean!
We had problems with the shower. It was from hot going to cold and back to hot and so on. We think it was due to the other guests. On moment when there where no other guests taking a shower the problem was much less.
very good value for money, excellent restaurant, nice cosy room, very central
very nice hotel, big rooms, nice bathroom, nice swimingpool, was great with a littlle kid.
massage was not so good. we also paid more for the tour we booked trough the hotel than guests from other hotels.
Very attentive, friendly and accomodating staff. Excellent little attached restaurant with good breakfast and very talented dinner chef.
