Nothing maybe the fact that there is a parking
The smell in the room , the hostile staff inclusding a racist comment during breakfast, the bed from WW2 era,the fact that they charged my CC before arrival and many other things me and my family put up with
Easy to find from the city center of Colmar (follow Rue du Ladhof). Near the motorway (but not noisy) - good, if you go by car. Locked private yard for bicycles (but not accessible after 22:00). Breakfast from 06:00 even on Sunday/public holidays. Receptionist speaks French, German and Alsatian German.
Too far from the city center of Colmar (3km) and no bus or other public transport in the evening - acceptable if you go by bicycle, but not on foot. Locked private yard to park bicycles is not accessible after 22:00. Narrow french double bed (better book a room with twin bed), the woolen blanket had no linen case (but there was a linen sheet). Breakfast fee includes only one hot drink (a big mug of coffee, tea or chocolate) per person, additional drinks must be paid extra for (EUR 2.50), and not a big choice of food (as announced - continental style). For the same price (7 EUR), in Mulhouse (in the city center!) we had a small breakfast buffet and as many drinks as we wanted.
Nothing
Yes everything, it was dirty, staff rude, room old looking and smelling bad, babybed we got looked dangerous and we did not want our baby to sleep in it. There are old carpets, blankets on bed with sigarette holes, (we asked for non smoking bedroom) and it was an awful experience.
good location
bathroom was not thoroughly clean, there was mold and mildew in the shower and on the wall tiles at the floor, and there were no hooks on the walls to hang things on.
Nothing
The staff wass not very friendly. The room was not well cleaned. There were a lot of mosquito's in the room.
It was available when the Tour De France was in town
I walked into the very small room, and it smelled of body oder. There were hairs in the sheets and the floor smelled of urin. Had two nights booked, but could only stay one night because of the filth. Save your money for breakfast and buy bread from a local bakery, you will save 6 euro. Additionally, it felt unsafe and should have dead-bolts on the doors.
Bilingal staff who were friendly and accommodating for late check ins.
Not the hotel exactly, but the nearby area is frequented by 'working ladies' and also the address by the GPS can take you to a 'dead end' street.
