Pros:The rooms are clean and of adequate size. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and efficient, I have no complaints.

Pros:Ambience
Pros:The hotel's design and amenities are what you'd expect from a boutique chain, and the majority of the staff are welcoming, attentive, and respectful. The rooms are excellent; clean, well-appointed, and tech enabled. The food options in the hotel are a good value, and the gym, pool, and rooftop bar provide ample opportunity to unwind.
Cons:Though I didn't experience it personally, several members of my party (along with many, many, many guests) had their room keycards malfunction throughout the stay. These keycards control access to your floor as well as your room, and are required to enable power in your room for lights, outlets, etc. The hotel itself is very, very small, so if you go to the restaurant, or the lobby, or the rooftop bar, or the pool, or the gym, at the wrong time, you'll be waiting or will be out of luck. The elevators say they hold 11 people max, but barely fit five people comfortably. All these quibbles are minor when considering the price you pay for the clean, excellent rooms and service.
Pros:This chic hotel just five minutes from the Liberty mall and National Museum is a great place to stay in Colombo. It reminds me of the boutique hotels in San Francisco, with quirky design and elegance. Most of the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast buffet is a good deal and includes both western and traditional dishes. The rooftop bar is a great place to relax, as is the infinity pool. It's a great value for the money, compared to other hotels in the capitol.
Cons:Since most staff were helpful and friendly, those who weren't stood out quite a bit. The hotel lobby is oddly split, with check in on the 7th floor. For all its charm, the hotel is VERY small and so the restaurant, bar, and pool can fill up very quickly.
