Cons (-) Just not well-managed at all. Hotels shouldn't have to go very far to make their customers happy. Just provide the basics of a stay and their well on the way. This had almost none. No coffee maker, no hair drier, no shampoo. Not even anything on the walls to make it appear it was a nice place. The place has a raunchy odor to it too. Pool area needs a lot of work and is rundown. Cons (-) Rooms we're pretty clean, but hallways and stairways were dirty and dingy.
Pros (+) I liked that it was on my intended route, otherwise it was a total disappointment. To list any room in that building as non-smoking is very misleading.
Cons (-) The place has a very strong odor from cigarette smoke from the minute you enter the lobby. I am not especially sensitive to smokers but this place was awful. If I had not been totally exhausted from my travels I would have asked for a refund and found another hotel. The "non-smoking" rooms and hallways smelt like an old dirty ashtray as well. Pros (+) Good location.
Cons (-) Non smoking room smelled like they were trying to cover the smell of it used to be a smoking room. Dirty and stained bedding. Staff was not friendly. Pool was under construction and construction started before 8 am. Thin walls. Wish they couldve spread people out more. Bed was hard as a rock. I was an hour past cancelling or i would've paid more to stay anywhere else.
