The room was small, but really clean and provided everything we needed for comfort and a good night's rest. I loved that people had to be quiet by 10:30 or 11:00 at night. We liked the breakfast and the staff was fantastic. I especially liked the bed and the bathroom (and the wonderful gel). I thought it was a great hotel for the money...all of our guests (8 of them) loved it as well.
You have to drive to get to shopping or eating places, but that was part of the charm for us. We felt like we were away from everything, but could drive down to the little villes for everything else. We even attended the World Cup downhill ski jumping event in La Praz and saw a fantastic aerial stunt show by the world champion in that field. The villages in this Parc Vanoise are absolutely gorgeous!!
Rooms had space to have parents and children separate - better sleeping for all!
The rooms were very cold, even in August, and the noise from the disco was quite penetrating. Food did not cater well for vegetarians.
pleasant family hotel w/ great views of the mountains, close to walking trails and a heated swimming pool to relax at the end of the day. The room for the adults was comfortable but the area devoted to the children was really small and basically a corridor without enough ventilation if you closed the door to the main room. Breakfast buffet was very good.
A little far from the village, but it was nice to have a quiet room.
I am glad you have mailed it has saved me a job.I am extremely disappointed in the position of this hotel in relation to Courchevel 1650..The map on your website for this hotel shows it in the centre of 1650. It is in fact nearly 1Km out from the town. My skiing holiday was designed for my 2 young children to learn to ski for the 1st time and I wanted a hotel in the middle of the resort to make the whole experience a good one for my children. Instead the position of the hotel tainted the whole holiday because of the transport problems between the hotel and ski school/nursery slopes was difficult and time consuming. I am very dissappointed. - had I known the true position of the hotel I would not have booked it..I have been mislead.
The staff were very accomodating and helpful. The facilities provided made the storage of ski gear easy also. The bar was very comfortable & loved the open fire. The menu for dinner could be broader. Access for parents with their babies to the Mini-club room would have made a stay so much more enjoyable!
The pillows are far too high, and we always awoke with stiff necks.
The smell in the hotel was terrible. Very expensive ski rental
location (5 mins form Courchevel 1850), all necessary services provided including ski rental, close to ski slops (about 50-100 metres)
to provide more late check-out - till 12-00, to have more personel who speaks English.
