You can enjoy fine cuisine in the Belle Epoque Restaurant or on the Snow Beach terrace. Half board is available upon request. Look forward to historically furnished rooms and a sauna area. The Schatzalp welcomes you in the middle of its beautiful botanical garden with 5,500 species of fascinating alpine plants in summer and is also known from the novel “The Magic Mountain” by Thomas Mann.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's unique Belle Époque atmosphere, stunning mountain location, and historical charm. Many highlight the impressive views, beautiful gardens, and the sense of stepping back in time. The breakfast is frequently described as excellent and varied, with regional products and vegan options. Staff are generally seen as friendly and helpful, though a few reviews mention occasional unfriendliness or lack of professionalism. Some guests feel the hotel and rooms are outdated and in need of renovation, and several comment that prices are high for the offered value. Parking fees and restaurant prices are also noted as drawbacks. However, the overall experience is described as memorable and enchanting, especially for those seeking a nostalgic or historical stay.
