Pros (+) Location. The Souq, Corniche and Museum of Islamic Art are all easy walking distance. Its also fairly close to the airport. The price also fitted our needs for this trip. Because of the great location, we didn't need to hire a car.
Cons (-) Tired hotel, furnishings in need of a refurbishment, exterior poor (street etc), most of the staff are not great however there were exceptions
Pros (+) Location was good. Central to souqs and corniche. Breakfast was just fine.
Cons (-) Very smelly from the lobby to the hallway to the room itself. The pool was ice cold and the service was not always reliable.

Pros (+) I only liked the location.
Cons (-) There was a bad smell coming from the restroom and was killing me and my family. however, i complained about that and they did something for the second night and unfortunately the bad smell came back in the third night.
