Hotel Dubrovnik

In a great location, close to bus, the ocean that it once I found it as the sign is deceptive and their directions to get there not very good!!

Yes my room had broken light, no balcony and other things which I complained about. They offered to move me and when I came back in the afternoon all the rooms had been booked out without changing me! They did give me a minute discount but I was not happy about my stay there.

Location was good. Not on the beach, but only 200m walk to the pebble (not sandy) beach. Local bus connections to the old city are good. Friendly staff.

I requested to be picked up at the airport, but had to find my own way to the hotel since they did not showup. I had trouble finding the place because I followed the street signs. When I called the hotel to ask for directions, the staff member had a minimal grasp on the English language and was unable to give me decent directions to the hotel. Staff had trouble speaking and understanding english. My room had a VERY strong mildew scent, "balcony" consited of a window with a guardrail over looking a similar hotel 10ft from my window, satellite TV had 8 channels. The breakfast was terrible and the drinks with breakfast--juice, coffee and tea--were made w/ tap water that had a funny taste. I stayed somewhere else the next night.
