Hotel Rosenhof

This no-nonsense German hotel is a gem, although I lack comparison with other hotels. It is within walking distance to the train station, just one stop from the international airport. Room is clean and facility adequate, comfortable bed, functional bathroom, quiet residential area, and banquet style breakfast!

Small, but very comfortable hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast is more than you expect. The street nearby is a little bit nosy, but if you are on a business trip, you can endure it.

Excellent location, just 5 minutes from the Airport, excellent staff, english speaking and very helpful. Good value for money.

The quietness and personalised service

Hotel staff (middle age lady, probably she was the owner) was very friendly and spoke very good English. I had an early flight and she was so kind to give for me in the morning couple of sandwich and juice. There is a rather good restaurant in the hotel. So if you don’t feel like going out in the evening you can have a traditional German dinner with beer or wine there.

There was not any lift in hotel. Non smoking rooms are on the second floor. Since I had very heavy suitcase I was proposed to live in smoking room on the first floor. However room did not have any smell.
