Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast, kitchen, walk-in shower, beds
Cons: A little tired sofabed
Good 7.0
Pros: Location was great/
Cons: While the facility was great. I found the price to bit high. I was in town for almost a week, but checked out my second day. I found several motels similar in comfort and cleanliness for almost half the price.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Large suite
Cons: Toilet had a slow leak and was noisy. The bed wasn’t made after clean up
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff, great breakfast and well-configured room with kitchen and nice amenities.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was a fantastic stay
Cons: I wish the random things didn’t happen in my room like alarms going off I didn’t program, the fan stopped working etc but I think that’s out of your control
Excellent 9.7
Pros: We had a nice, clean and spacious room here. They served a great hot breakfast. The staff was very courteous and attentive, they took care of everything we asked for or needed. We would definitely stay again.
Cons: The pool and hot tub stayed very crowded with noisy kids, so we did not use it.

Good 7.0
Pros: Good breakfast. Close to the river trail.
Cons: Location is very noisy. The rooms are small, and the hotel itself is noisy (especially when the heavy hotel room doors close in the middle of the night).
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Reception, food service, housekeeping staff all terrific! Room very comfortable. Easy parking. Appreciate the luggage carts.
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Breakfast The meats (bacon, sausage, scramble eggs, and potatoes) were cold even though the electrical plugs were plug in the outlet. We’re ate breakfast two days and both days, the meats were cold. A little disappointed. But overall, the hotel is great.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful and quaint hotel adjacent to the Silverton train. The location was perfect! The room was small, but that is to be expected in a historic hotel. We slept well and wish I could find the same pillows for our home! A great stay overall and we highly recommend it! We’ll be back!
Cons: No complaints
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This is a beautiful historic property with a perfect location. We enjoyed exploring downtown Durango. Everything was an easy walk.
Cons: Small room. The elevator was a historic one and was fun learning it’s quirks.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Loved the location...great proximity to al we wanted to experience in Durango
Cons: NA
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful! We booked a room with no windows and what a treat to have a stained glass skylight! We loved it!
Cons: Due to Covid there was no in restaurant dining. A grab and go breakfast was provided but it was very sparse. Instant oatmeal, apple cinnamon bar or muffin. Coffee/tea. This really isn’t anything to complain about- just take your own protein or Diabetic diet foods if you need something special. There are many healthy grocers there.
Good 7.0
Pros: Beautifully preserved antique hotel that gives you a glimpse of the past. Real metal keys remind you of a time before plastic key cards. Original elevator with accordion gate takes you back in time. You have to ride it up or down at least once. Antique furniture throughout and beautiful original architecture. Antique bed in our room with feather pillows provided a comfortable nights sleep. Modern convenience of a Keurig coffee maker balanced with an antique stained glass transom above the door made for an interesting mix of old and new. Modern bathroom amenities. We found ourselves looking forward to relaxing on the large balcony on the back of the hotel at the end of the day with a cool beverage. The back staircase entrance was convenient for daily excursions. Convenient downtown location adjacent to the Durango Silverton train station and within walking distance of the river, walking trail, grocery store, and downtown shopping and restaurants. Convenient parking directly behind the hotel. You will hear the daily train whistles, we found this charming and part of the old world experience.
Cons: No refrigerator in room. Never found an ice machine. No maid service on any of our three days despite placing hang tag on door requesting it. Fresh towels and collecting the trash would have been nice. Hall light coming through the transom, while beautiful, made it impossible to completely darken the room. Bring a sleep mask or request one of the rooms without a transom if you need complete darkness to sleep.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great location! Rooms were nice.
Cons: N/a
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very close to everything we wanted, the restaurants, Durango to Silverton railroad. Excellent accommodations, beautiful architecture, wonderful stay.
Cons: Nothing, it was excellent
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Antique touches throughout in a very clean and peaceful environment.
Cons: I liked everything!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Central location. Historic nature of the hotel
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The room was beautiful and well maintained. The hotel looked brand new, but from the late 1800s.
Cons: The elevator was also from the late 1800s and was barely big enough for two and luggage.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Room was clean, old time feel, good room luxuries. Could have used a mini fridge in the room. Great location for the train and all the shops and restaurants in town.
Cons: No breakfast, or should I say super Small breakfast. Saw granola and yogurt and cereal, saddest hotel breakfast I've had in a long time.
Good 6.5
Pros: Old time feel and a great location
Cons: No window? No A/C, meant for a hot stuffy room.

Okay 4.0
Pros: The room was not clean. There were oreos behind the bed and a bag of opened cheetos behind the refrigerator. My granddaughter dropped her cord and it fell behind the bed she was sleeping in and she saw the oreos and then my husband was retrieving something he had set on top of the microwave and he saw the opened bag of cheetos. Then we had to call the front desk if we wanted our room to be cleaned. For the price there should have been better amenities.
Cons: Everything. The only great thing about this hotel is the location.
Okay 4.0
Pros: For what came to over $400 a night, I expected a five star experience. It was more like a 3 star. While the room was adequate, it had nothing exceptional to offer; if you wanted your room cleaned, you had to ASK to have it done; the hall carpets were never cleaned while I was there; the staff, while courteous, was always under-staffed, so you had to wait if you needed anything from them. There was NO TV guide. Save for a river view, which was a tiny bonus, any Best Western Inn would have been as good. And to top it all off, if you rented a car, you got the privilege of paying the hotel $12 a night to park it in an uncrowded parking lot while sipping on your $3-for-a-10-cent bottled water. Won't be back there...
Cons: Everything.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: There’s not one balcony view in the hotel that doesn’t offer a scene of the Animas River. Tucked in the corner by Mountains, you can hear the River and watch bikers, joggers and runners go by. The sound of the Durango in Silverton and Train can be overheard each morning. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Cons: There’s nothing negative that I experienced will staying at this property.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The balcony! Watching the people enjoying the river and bike path!
Cons: Lack of cleaning staff to at least empty the trash.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Balcony overlooking the river
Cons: add on costs, no breakfast
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Breakfast was GREAT! I think the hotel is a little expensive for what I consider to be 'basic hotel room' but I realize that Durango is a tourist destination during the summer. I have no complaints other than I thought it was a bit pricey.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Na
Cons: Na
Excellent 8.8
Cons: Walked into the room, looked in the bathroom, found ants crawling over the floor in front of the commode.Notified the desk staff and was promptly moved into another room. Much appreaciated!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We parked our car and walked everywhere, great location. Fun indoor pool.
Cons: The food at the restaurant was only ok. Eggs over cooked.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Enjoyed my visit. The hotel, staff, location and amenities were top notch.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very beautiful and well taken care of. The location is perfect, on Main Street where all the stores and restaurants are within walking distance.
Cons: The air conditioning works. However, we needed a fan, and they brought us one. Our window faced another building so our view was not great. However, beautiful drapes covered the window, so we just left them shut.
Good 7.0
Pros: Loved the history. Loved the staff. Loved the music Sunday night and dinner was ok at the saloon
Cons: ALL restaurants were closed on Monday and today Tuesday. Would think again about visiting on any Monday or Tuesday
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Office. Restaurant next to The Office. Room was very nice size and bed was very comfortable.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great location. Pretty quiet for an old hotel. VERY close to the Silverton train depot.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: No Breakfast
Cons: Would Really like a Coffee Maker in the room.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Ambiance of the facilities.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Expected it to have a bigger main floor with more antiques. Didn’t quite get the expectations that was advertised.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: If you book through outside source, they will not let you check in early. Witnessed them letting people check in early who booked with them directly. Hotel is vintage but old. Although location is great, will not stay again.
Excellent 10.0
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The feeling of being in a time machine in a sense. Everything about this hotel just speaks history.
Cons: No complaints at all. Keep up the great work!
Okay 5.4
Cons: Room was very hot. I tried to cool it down but the thermostat was locked at set temperature. In all fairness , I could have called the front desk to ask if anything could have been done.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Ambiance no
Cons: No complimentary breakfast
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Great hotel filled with beautiful antiques.
Cons: Parking was horrible
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Our stay at the Strater Hotel was very nice. We wanted a taste of the The West, and we certainly got it. I felt like I was staying in Miss Kitty's room! Great location.
Cons: The only thing I can say is I wish there were better pillows.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Okay 5.4
Pros: Hotel is in a good location. There are some great restaurants and shops in the area.
Cons: There was no bellman available or bell cart available to help with our bags when we arrived. The furniture was dusty, wallpaper was starting to peal off the walls and ceiling. Thermostat was locked and we were not able to turn on the heater in the room. There was black mold in the grout on the floor. Ate in the restaurant/bar on property, food lacked flavor and was very greasy and not well prepared. On check out the elevator was not working so we had to haul our bags down three flights of stairs. My mom has had two knee surgeries and had some discomfort after the ordeal. Would not recommend this hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Enjoyed our stay at the Strater Hotel. Ideal location in downtown Durango! Our room was clean and comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Decor, history, bar, room
Cons: Nothing

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Rooms were clean - really the entire hotel seemed clean and well maintained. There was always hot coffee available in the lobby.
Cons: Though this is no fault of the hotel itself, inconsiderate guests being loud in the hallways made it difficult to sleep.
Okay 5.0
Pros: There was no milk for breakfast and the only thing hot was biscuits and gravy. Cereal, muffins, and oatmeal were available but no milk.
Cons: Staff never told me where the elevators were, never said anything about breakfast or the hours. The halls were freezing!!! Staff not very informative at all.
Good 7.0
Pros: 非常差
Cons: Need to put more toilet papers, towels…etc
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location. Covid19 practices in effect.
Cons: Breakfast was cold.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We can always count on LaQuinta to be clean and dog friendly without pet fees. Love them.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: I observed someone suspiciously looking into the bed of my truck and very closely inspecting the contents inside my cab. Upon reporting this to Adam, GM, he lookeked into video recordings and later reported to me that he asked what he thought he was doing. "Oh dude, I was just looking." Adam says, if you want to look at something, do it from a distance" Adam took a good principal to work, keep away from others' property.
Cons: No bar & grill at the mall close by
Okay 4.0
Pros: New hotel, clean, nice room
Cons: Upon checking in, I was given a room on the third floor... when I got to my room, someone else was already occupying it, which was awkward. So I went back to the front desk and they tried again... I was given room #240 (the front desk agent said, "THIS time I double checked it and I know that no one else is in this new room")... nice to know. Room #240 is directly above the lobby/front entrance. The front entrance has two sets of sliding glass doors that are directly beneath part of the room. As such, the room is extremely loud every single time these doors open. When I was laying there trying to sleep, it sounds like someone is inside the room, opening a sliding glass door twice in a row. It nearly vibrates the floor. This room should never be used for guests due to this noise problem. I would have asked to switch rooms, but by the time I went to bed and realized the noise, about 10pm, I was too tired and it was too late for me to pack everything up, move, etc. I thought that maybe I could get over it and fall asleep anyway. Managed to drown out the noise with the television at first, but then later the noise woke me up over and over all night. I ended up with a terrible nights sleep and just getting out of there early in the morning because I couldn't sleep.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: They have a fantastic grab n go breakfast with bacon, eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit, and more. They bag it up to go to your room. There is hand sanitizer at every entrance and elevator. You can use the pool/hot tub by checking in with the front desk. The rooms are great with comfortable beds. Love having the kitchenette and fireplace. Will stay again!
Cons: The location doesn’t have much that’s walkable nearby, but it’s still only a 3-4 mins drive to historical downtown Durango.

Excellent 9.0
Cons: Did not have breakfast and had a problem with getting a credit.
Good 6.0
Pros: I had to pay $10 a plate for breakfast and it really was not that good it was a buff it really was not that good it was a buffet style. If you wanted cereal in a package you also had to pay for that. The floor should have been vacuumed and the bathroom floor should have been mild bathroom floors should have been mopped they were a little bit dirty. One of the hand towels had make up on it.
Cons: The staff was very friendly. But I did request a wake up call for 2 days and they only got one day in there. The TV had to be programmed every time I turned it on. I paid too much money for what I got.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: Don’t be fooled!! Breakfast is not available and when you pay extra for it no one will refund your money!!! The pool was kind of yucky. When we checked in we had 2 towels in our room and that was it and when I called to get more she said she would have to see what she could find🤔.

Pros: Pool hours available and we could actually use it
Cons: No breakfast available and the restaurant wasn’t open until dinner. I asked for a room with view, balcony and/or fireplace—paid for queen suite that was just a regular double queen room, no view, no balcony, no fireplace. They charged me an additional $150 more than what I booked it for too.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: I would like them to have the restaurant open for breakfast
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Pool/hot tub was great. Very comfortable bed. We slept very well.
Cons: There was no breakfast.

Pros: Mark at the front desk was very nice. Location wasn't too bad. There wasn't very much else that was good.
Cons: We stayed memorial weekend and Friday when we checked in and got ready to go to bed I pulled the covers back to get in bed and there were stains on the sheets. For 3 days never got the sheets changed until the 3 time/ day I complained. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. They said I would be compensated but that never happened. I paid $200 a night. They did give a 2 free drinks and free breakfast. What a joke!!!!

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable, spacious room. Older motel that has been updated over the years, great walking location to everything downtown via a river walk, no walking the highway to get there
Cons: Paper thin "original" plate glass window. At 11 pm had to check to see if window was left open as we could hear every conversation outside.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The location is awesome! It is close to main street, the train, and the river.
Cons: The room smelled like BO and the carpet was extremely dirty. It was pretty disgusting.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Checked in Friday night around 8:30 room wasn’t cleaned promise discount for inconvenience never got
Good 7.0
Pros: Comfortable beds. Clean room. Tea bags in lobby.
Cons: Maybe it said this in the booking but there was no fridge though we could get ice from a nearby machine. Our booking said river view. if you look out the window you can see the cars parked at the front and the trees. if the cars were not there maybe you can see the river but from the first floor I think not. Only Earl Grey and decaf tea in the room though we could get regular black tea in the lobby.
Good 6.0
Pros: Location was great! Centrally located, you can walk to many destinations. No breakfast, just coffee. Our room was good location.
Cons: Did not like having to walk further than expected to our room. Did not like no vent in bathroom.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was by the river and a short trail to walk by the river.
Cons: Na
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Great location. Walking distance to downtown and Silverton train. Half hour drive to Mesa verde
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was great. I was 2 blocks away from the heart of downtown. Rooms and beds were nice and clean.
Good 6.8
Pros: Location was good. Beds were good. Near river.
Cons: Very bad sound from exterior walkways. Could hear everything from people outside like the window or door was open even though closed.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very nice staff
Cons: A bit noisy - make sure to have a white noise app on your phone in case there are late-night gatherings outside your room!
Okay 5.7
Pros: Room was very clean!! Location is great
Cons: Gentlemen that checked us in very rude!! Hotel a bit overpriced for the room they put us in!!
Okay 5.1
Pros: The location is nice, only a block from downtown
Cons: The beds are a out as comfortable as a pile of gravel. Literally the only time I have seriously considered sleeping in the car as a better nights sleep.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Right up by the river, awesome stay second year in a row. Easy walk to downtown.
Cons: Right at top of stairs; lots of noisy people that can't carry a suitcase down the stairs and instead slam it all the way down. Some barking dogs. Otherwise great!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Proximity to good restaurants and the river path.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: That location was great and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: The beds were not very comfortable at all and the bathroom was very small and could probably use some updating, but overall it was great. Unfortunately, I left my favorite pair of shoes by mistake in the room and the cleaning staff have not turned them in so that bothers me.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Loves the location. Breakfast was just OK. The man/manager at the front desk was very rude.
Cons: Rude front desk man. Don't remember his name.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Two mixed drinks a day
Good 6.0
Pros: Location is fantastic. Pool and Spa looked great and breakfast was good.
Cons: The tough part, for the staff more than customers, is right now it is very hard to get workers. So some things take longer. That is NOT the fault of the current staff. They were great.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The hotel was great overall! It's situated just a few blocks from the historical downtown for easy access! They also had a really good continental breakfast with eggs, sausage, and even biscuits and gravy. The staff was all very nice and professional and I really enjoyed the little balcony that came with our room.
Cons: Honestly, everything was great. The sink stopper in the room was broken but that really wasn't a big deal, we just set it sideways. There wasn't anything that really bothered me. I really enjoyed our stay!
Okay 4.0
Pros: The hotel offered a "happy hour" drink each evening for guests, which was a nice gesture.
Cons: Our room was supposed to have a balcony, which it didn't. Also, the "good breakfast" that came with the room was pathetic - nothing but coffee and make your own waffles, although there were empty serving trays that suggested the place might have offered hot breakfast items, cereals, etc. at one point. There wasn't even orange juice. I felt bad for the guy trying to stock the breakfast options, as they were out of most food choices. The hotel seemed understaffed, and in need of new management.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice pool area. Complimentary cocktails. Has a small balcony off the room.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Enjoyed our stay. At the Rio grande inn.. Was late getting to happy hour but we were served. Nice location to downtown Durango walking distance to everything.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great staff, within walking distance of everything awesome.
Excellent 9.3
Pros: Breakfast was great and the staff was very nice.
Cons: Loud people at the pool late at night.

Okay 4.0
Pros: easy check in and out.
Cons: Not a good selection in breakfast foods. I do not like telling someone to clean my room. It should be cleaned ($150.00 a day) unless I put the do not disturb sign on my door.
Okay 4.0
Pros: Location was convinient. Room size was good, door between bedroom and living space was what we had expected.
Cons: Unfortunately, our room quality was not what we had expected. I realize Durango does not have large city quality, but still, this was pretty bad. Our room smelled like a wet dog, bathroom had water or mold stains all over the wall. Extra blanket in the closet had hair all over, for sure was not cleaned from previous guests. Air conditioner was extremly loud, so we kept it off to be able to sleep. However, we came accross another issue. Walls were so thin, we could hear people above all night long, their tv was on all night long, and kept us up all night.
Good 7.0
Pros: The breakfast was okay and the place was clean and some of the staff was friendly.
Cons: Price
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: Property is dirty, old and worn out. And overpriced.

Good 7.7
Pros: Clean, mostly comfortable...I have a bad back so I am always a little bit to a lot uncomfortable after hotel beds. This was better than most.
Cons: Had issues with computers in business center and response from staff was slow.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was good, but not great. Very nice room. Comfortable!
Cons: Expensive for what you got.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Nothing
Good 6.0
Pros: Convenient location, excellent staff
Cons: Dated facility with worn furniture; over priced for the offering
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Guest services were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed and pillows. Had a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. Also had a nice business room.
Cons: The workout room was small and stuffy.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Love the beds and the whole room was nice.
Cons: Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30. Breakfast was always late. The poor broken armed boy that was handling the breakfast was worthless as a one armed boy can be.
Good 7.1
Pros: Value for price.
Cons: N/A

Pros: Fresh cooked breakfast, scones, cookies in the afternoon
Excellent 9.6
Pros: We're repeat visitors and just enjoy everything about the hotel. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic and the staff who serve it is super friendly! The cruiser bikes that are available to guests are very convenient to zip around town. All of the stores, restaurants, bars, etc. are very close so no need for a car, which is huge. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are spotless. You are definitely made to feel welcome there. We look forward to our next visit!

Pros: The best part of this hotel is the location.
Cons: This hotel was way over budget for what it is. No better than a choices hotel with two to three times the cost. I stay in hotels 4-5 months a year and for the price this hotel wasn't even close to the quality expected.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The bed was very comfortable ! Room was a good size. Older decor but everything worked!!
Cons: Little better locks on door would be great. Could use a second night stand with plugs
Okay 5.0
Cons: If you have reservations thru Bookings they are not good. I called Bookings. Neil Patrick said he called Wapiti Lodge and everything was good. I get there and staff said no one called them. I got a room for 4 nights but they stiffed 4 other people with reservations. Most of the time no one is on site you have to call a phone number.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: Close to town so we could walk.
Cons: Never saw anyone but the cleaning lady the day we checked in. Everytime I went to the office no one was there. I called the number on the window and never got anything but voice mail and never got a call back. The room was never cleaned, or fresh towels given. Lots of flying bugs in the room. We had 5 nights paid for but left after 4 and not once saw staff except as stated.
Okay 5.0
Pros: I expected that the beds would be made, the empty tissue box would be replenished and we would get additional toiletries. None of that happened. The office was not open in the afternoon and did not open until we checked out. Was given no number to call for assistance.
Cons: Check out my comments above. That sums it up.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved the rustic feel and porch with chairs to sit outdoors-very well appointed facility. Staff VERY friendly and helpful!
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9.0
Pros: I was unable to stay the first time I booked the room due to illness. The manager of the lodge worked with me so that I could stay the following week. Hats off to him for doing that! We stayed in a room with a small kitchen. That helped a lot with expenses, as we just bought groceries and cooked in the room a lot. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The room was spacious enough for my family to sit and enjoy visiting. I will stay here again. If I had anything bad to say is that it is next to the Hwy. Although within the room we could not hear the traffic. They have a very relaxed environment. They were not always available when we needed something, but when we could reach them, they were more than accommodating.
Cons: Just that I sometimes could not reach them by phone. However, they did call me back. And that sometimes when we needed something, we had to wait.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The bed was amazing. The entire lodge was so cute.
Cons: The shower water pressure (or lack of) was terrible. The water also smelled in the sink area.
Good 7.0
Pros: Friendly staff. The lady was nice the guy seemed nice as well.
Cons: They knew we had dogs but didn’t provide the darker towels and didn’t offer them until I used a white towel to drive off my dog after a walk leaving the towel a bit dirty and then said if it didn’t come clean (it was still wet when I gave it to them) that I’d be charged for it. Maybe offering dark colored towel when you know there is a dog up front would be a better idea. Dog get on beds. I kept my dogs clean and put a dark color blanket on top of the white comforter to keep it so. I don’t understand why you can’t leave your dogs in room while you go out. This made my trip much more difficult.
Good 7.0
Pros: With Covid the rooms weren't cleaned on a regular basis during the stay
Cons: That pets could not be left alone in the room
Good 7.0
Pros: It was a handy overnight stop on our way home from our trip to see the towns of Ouray and Telluride. We have stayed there before so we knew what to expect. It is near enough to walk into Durango so we like the location. Quiet at night which was good.
Cons: It just felt a bit dated. The bed mattress needed replacing and the wall heater was marked and looked dirty. Ceiling fan noisy. Freezer all frosted up. A bit neglected it seemed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, comfortable, great location and price. Very friendly staff.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The small Park with picnic tables.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Staff was friendly!
Cons: Maybe a bit small but what do you expect?
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The small, private places can be a gamble but Wapiti Lodge is a safe bet. It was clean and the king studio was very roomy and spacious. Convenient location with full kitchen. Even with the busy road out front, it was quiet so they've obviously stepped up the insulation and windows. It was a comfortable place that was an easy walk to town for dinner.
Cons: Considering all of the amenities and the full size coffee pot (yeah!), there was no coffee nor coffee filters. Total bummer. We ended up making a 6am run into town for coffee. That alone took a 5 star experience down to 4 star. Had we at least been told that, we could have grabbed coffee and filters the night before. The bath towels were only slightly larger than hand towels.

Okay 5.0
Pros: Convenient
Okay 5.0
Pros: The staff was nice, it was clean
Cons: The elevator was not working and we were in the 3rd floor. The I've maker on the 3rd floor was not working so we had to go down to the 2nd floor to get that! 😦
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: It was sumwhat clean.
Cons: Water leak under the sink and the floor was saturated with water. The rooms are large, queen size bed. Fragrant spray wasn't pleasant smelling. Moldy smell or/and shut up smell.
Okay 5.0
Pros: The room was clean. The air conditioning was working and cooled the room off nicely. Fan was working as well for white noise to cover the loud footsteps on the 3rd floor.
Cons: The price I paid was more than what booking.com sent me in my confirmation email. Breakfast was granola bars, juice in a packet, coffee and yogurt. House cleaning didn't latch the room door after they went in, and room was left unlocked all day. Elevator wasn't working. We had to haul our suitcases and cooler up to the 2nd floor. Parking lot felt small and cramped. Especially with big trucks parking.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great experience, we'll be back!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Was quiet and I liked the price. Easy check in and check out.
Cons: One of the room I booked had stained towels and a stained sheet.

Cons: Property hasn’t changed but the price sure jumped.

Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Have menus for local quick eat places that deliver in the guest info binder.

Pros: Not a bad place to stay the night.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean room. Good price.
Good 6.0
Pros: Clean. Not too loud.
Cons: Getting old and outdated.
Okay 4.2
Pros: The location was convenient and the staff were helpful enough.
Cons: The room AC was underperforming. The room got so warm and the beds were uncomfortable. The floors between must be very thin because your footsteps are loud and you can hear people above you. The lobby is old and worn and there's trash in the parking lot. Not an inviting place.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Had a confirmed reservation for a road trip I was taking with my granddaughter. We were on a sight seeing train ride in the mountains with no internet service. When we arrived for check-in we were told my credit card was declined the room was taken. I used my credit card through-out the trip & knew there was nothing wrong with the card. I was livid!!!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was great.Very clean
Good 7.4
Pros: Comfortable hotel overall with lots of rooms. Nice free breakfast. Attentive staff.
Cons: A bit of a billing blip. Night agent entered in rare incorrectly. FD agent wasn't able to correct w/o manager. All agents should have abilities to make these changes. It was resolved quickly by the manager. When we were looking through the room to make sure not to leave anything behind, we found a can of chewing tobacco on the floor. It is fortunate that the children did not find this and try to get into it. The refrigerator was not working. We did not mention this to anyone during the stay.
