Pros:Breakfast was great
Pros:Everything about this hotel resort is fabulous. The rooms are very clean & big, beds are SO comfortable, and every single staff member was so friendly & ready to help you with anything you might need. I’ve stayed with them twice now and I don’t think any other place would be able to give the same beach vacation experience. From the origami folded towels and high quality toiletries to the fully supplied kitchens & in room washer & dryer, you’re both pampered & feel at home. They’re at the end of the island, so the beach (amazing btw) isn’t too crowded. There’s a nice balance of family & adult activity & atmosphere, so everyone can enjoy their time their own way. I just can’t say enough good things about this place.

Pros:Love the area, the hotel was awesome, staff was always helpful, 24 hour beach view. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Cons:Hidden costs. 35.00 resort fee. When I checked out. Plus Extra 75.00 above kayak quoted price when paid reservation on the app
Pros:We loved the one bedroom villa with the full kitchen and amazing views of the beach and marina. The resort had everything you would want right on property. Loved that you could take the bus/trolley to the downtown area of Ft Myers beach. The bellman were the most helpful and nice guys! Any questions we had they were more than accommodating. We went fishing with Mike and LOVED every minute of it. We did the back bays and it was perfect. The waves are not big in the back bays so you do not need to worry about sea sickness. We also did the dolphin wave runner tour with Garret that was on property. It was one of the best tours we have ever taken. They let you go fast and also bring you right up close to the dolphin and manatees. I would recommend this resort for people traveling with kids.
Pros:My mother and step father booked a vacation here and we drove down from St Petersburg to see them. We only stayed at the resort for 2 days/1 night. We had a wonderful time and the resort was amazing. The room was clean, comfortable and very inviting. The staff was very friendly, and attentive. I have worked in the hospitality industry as a security manager for several years and I was extremely impressed with the pink shell. I will be returning here for another stay in the future.
Pros:The location is perfect. It's nice that the umbrellas and chairs are included. The three pools were nice, too, so that families, children, and adults can have their own space. Neil, a security guard there, was extremely personable. They let you stay after check-out to enjoy the amenities which is great! The main lobby is beautiful. I loved the giant checker board and the fact that there was an arcade.
Cons:The room was pretty expensive for what it was. The patio and view was great and the kitchen for extended stays is nice, too. But for a one night stay, it was pretty pricey. Not to mention that there were 3 of us, so we had to pay $17 for one breakfast (which was a great buffet, but our third person should have been included, especially for what we paid for the room). It was a little confusing navigating the 3 different buildings, especially when first arriving and parking. I wish there were some pool toys available, but it seemed like they tried to charge you for everything they could.
Pros:We had a wonderful time as a couple. Our sweet had 2 balconies overlooking the ocean and we enjoyed sitting on our lanai watching the sunset. Service was excellent! We will definitely be coming back with our little ones!
Cons:It took a while to get a hold of someone at the reception desk when we had a question. But that was it.
Pros:The staff was the friendliest and most professional across the board.
Cons:Private loud company party at the pool.
Pros:Our stay at the Pink Shell was top notch. Wonderful staff, great rooms and good value. We have a young family and stayed in the Captiva Villas, perfect set-up. Will be coming back in the future!
Pros:Rooms were great, views were beautiful, friendly staff! And breakfast was free & very tasty!
