Hotel Monarque Torreblanca

The reception and facilities were good. The large selection of food available for breakfast was excellent and catered for everyone's taste

We felt that the room, although large, was in need of some re-decoration and doesn't merit a 4 star rating.

We selected the Hotel Torreblanca because of its location, although quite far along from the centre of Feungirola the hotel is right next to Torreblanca railway station (no noise) and the train system is a great way of getting about. We were impressed with the excellent size of both the bedroom and the bathroom, plus there is a fairly large hallway which makes the facility more of a suite than a bedroom. In the bedroom there was plenty of storage for clothes. As already mentioned, the decor is a bit dated but very clean. We also liked the outside terrace of the hotel and the gardens with pools. We would go back to this hotel and be happy to stay for longer than the one night we booked next time we are in the area.

Only two lifts, one of which was not operational.

Cleaning standard was very poor, lots of hairs around the bathroom, and floor in bedroom not swept properly
