Excellent, Japanese Style Hostel
We greatly enjoyed our stay here. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful, facilities were spotless and very cute, and futons were incredibly comfortable. Would absolutely stay again, and recommend most highly!

Overview
A mere 10-minute drive from the Fujikyu Highland amusement park, Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel offers private Japanese-style rooms, free Wi-Fi at the lobby. Coin-operated laundry facilities are on-site. The property is an 8-minute walk from Shimoyoshida Station on the Fujikyuko Line. Rooms come with a quiet interior with a tatami (woven-straw) floor and neutral colours. All rooms are fitted with traditional futon bedding and a low table, while some have an LCD TV. Bathroom facilities and toilets are shared. All rooms are non-smoking. Youth Hostel Fujiyoshida is a 20-minute walk from the Arakura Sengen Shrine and the Chureito pagoda. The Kitaguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine, the starting point for Mount Fuji climbers, is a 10-minute drive away. Fujisan Train Station on the Fujikyuko Line is an 18-minute walk away. Guests can use the shared fridge and microwave. Complimentary coffee/tea is available. No meals are served.
