“We took our decision to come to Sri Lanka in early March, when the nightmare has started with global virus paranoia and decided that we better stay in our CocoBay longer than we expected : 2 weeks +! because we did some search ahead of time, it was wise not to change hotels, this hotel totally fitted our criteria’s. Location - front line, private beach with small waves, secluded, modern furnishing and good service and food reviews. We never regretted that we have chosen this gem....as we arrived to this wonderful place, we liked it from the very beginning. Danesha, the front desk manager is a sweetest young lady, who took a great care of us from the very moment we stepped into this oasis, she offered us natural juice as a refreshment with her sparkling smile, and was very accommodating sorting out all of our requirements and giving us suggestions on whereabouts, she was always very attentive. Our room was on the upper 3 rd floor, one of the best suites in this stylish hotel. The cleanliness of the room, furniture, bedding , choice of pillows, ( even a pillow menu) the mattress; all was the way we like. Housekeeping did an outstanding job: the towels and linen were changed daily, and every day we would find beautiful flowers and candles arrangements all around in our room. First, after we took some rest, we went for an early dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. We opted for “ Seafoods indulgence platter”, which was a top notch artfully arranged and flawlessly prepared ... This was probably the best seafood dish I had eaten in my life! I must notice here that I have a degree in hospitality field, and travel quite a lot , often ordering seafood when I am at a sea side destination. Italian Pinot Grigio was a perfect addition to enjoy this dish by my husband.”
