I often make reservations and pay for rooms for my employees. At this location I personally went into the hotel and filled out a credit card authorization for the credit card on file. Only two hours later when my employee checked in, the hotel staff told him he would need to have a credit card on file also. He explained to them that I had already filled out the necessary paperwork for that. They continued to give him a difficult time, obviously their staff is not trained in their own policies. I left a message with the Manager who never returned my call. We will not stay there again.
Super comfortable beds and bedding! Pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast. Really appreciated graciousness of employee Della Reese. She assisted us at breakfast and was a warm and welcoming presence. If I were driving through town in the future, I would stop in just to see and hug her!!
Location was good. Quiet.
Would have been a good night stay for a night after our long drive to TX if we got the room that we booked. Unfortunately, when we tried to go to the room, someone was there. Yes, the room was already occupied by someone else. The front desk person said that was the last room with 1 king bed. Since we were tired and just want to get some sleep before we go back to the road again the next day, we just took whatever available room they have (2 queen beds). They gave us $10 giftcard to Starbucks just because of that. But still disappointed for not getting the room we want.
