Pros: Liked location which is within walking distance of the Village with shops, upstairs restaurant at The Cupboard, and other delights. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Would be good if they had hair dryers in the rooms

Pros: For the amount of time spent in our room it was perfect! Very close to the main strip yet not too deep into town so you don't have to fight a lot of traffic coming to or leaving your room! We will be back!

Pros: Very nice, clean room with comfortable beds. Friendly staff. You couldn't match the price/service combination that the Mountain House Inn offers. Great little spot in a great vacation area. I would stay here anytime.

Pros: Very short walk to the main strip. We grabbed Subway and took it back to the room. Didnt use them, but there are 2 pools that were still open for the year. The staff are very down to earth people.

Pros: It was nice having a pool and the location of the motel was in walking distance of all the shops in Gautlinburg.

Pros: We enjoyed the following... Big, warm indoor pool Creek directly under room balcony Comfortable beds Friendly staff Location On-site breakfast Quiet rooms
Cons: Bathrooms could use a few updates. It was also a cold walk outside from the indoor pool to our room but that's just part of being an older/motel-style establishment.

Pros: The cleaning staff was very nice and the riverfront was a plus.
Cons: There were ants in our room. The minifridge became unplugged sometime when we were asleep the first night and ruined our food in the fridge. When you entered the room the smell was unpleasant and somewhat over powering, took a while to adjust to it.

Pros: it reminded me of Gatlinburg when I was growing up. Simple, clean motel. Off the parkway so it was nice and quiet, but still just a short walk to the main drag. AMAZING pool!!! Unbeatable price, and super friendly staff. We will be back!

Pros: After reading some reviews after booking our stay I was worried... we arrived & the staff was very friendly, rooms were clean, a/c worked great, ice machines worked. I found no merit to some concerns addressed in others reviews. Yes this is a older motel but not rundown & I would stay again. We were courtside (across the street) & it was very peaceful.

Pros: Great staff, very friendly. The staff were the highlight of this experience. The rooms were average with the standard motel options. Location was close enough that you could walk to the main attractions. For the price it was worth it.
Cons: The Wi-Fi only worked at the main building and a bit beyond. Did not see any breakfast options available but a fantastic pancake house was nearby. Bathrooms needed updated.

Pros: Very affordable, close to the shopping strip & attractions but a little more of a walk than I expected especially with small kids! I think our kids liked the pool more than they liked the actual vacation itself! I was happy to stay there though!
Cons: The pool wasn't very easy to access at all, our room we were given at check in had not been cleaned up from a prior maintenance job but the front desk took care of us right away and put us in another room. We ended up being by the creek which was really nice.

Pros: Our stay was great. We would definitely stay again. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Pool area was great as well. Best thing was it's location to downtown we were able to walk every where just about. Only complaint would be that their towels were to small.

Pros: The location and the indoor pool were great.
Cons: Our room was very small and smelled like mildew/mold. The hotel is very outdated and not very clean. The Wifi did not work most of the time and the shower water kept going from scalding hot to cold without touching anything. We also were put in a "pet friendly" room, which I would NEVER stay in again. If I had known that part of the hotel was "pet friendly" I would have never booked there. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Pros: Spacious room, nice view from balcony, and the mini fridge kept suff very cold. For price, it's okay.
Cons: False advertising on booking site. I booked a room with a hot tub and fireplace... No hot tub and (although it was late September) the fireplace didn't work due to it being "out of season". Bathroom was super tiny and the tub/shower was very slippery. Creepy-looking people hung-out outside of hotel's laundry mat (which you have to walk through to get to the elevator).

Pros: Ask for the creek side rooms with balconys! Hearing the creek from your room was great. Their indoor pool is what sells this place for me and my family. It's a fun pool, with waterfall and hot tub. You can't beat the value for the location and amenities.
Cons: It's not very fancy or new, but if you're not a fancy person then you'll love it.

Pros: Right by the main strip, but it is Gatlinburg. Small town, so everything is in walking distance.
Cons: There was no alarm clock, my room smelled like body odor. The shower was built for kids under 12. There was only soap, no shampoo. They offer free wifi, but it was down a lot and when it was up, it would constantly boot me. Would not stay here again.

Pros: Nothing! This was the worst motel management I have ever seen. Understaffed, dirty rooms, and above all, non-caring owners.
Cons: Had to wait 2 hours after check-in time for them to get our room clean. Asked to speak with the owners who were on site and they did not come to speak with me. The 2 days we stayed we were not contacted by the owners about our problem. I will not use Kayak or any other service who lists this motel.

Pros: We only had a very short stay when arriving we had a good ways to walk to the room with luggage opened the door and the smell of mold was so bad I started choking. When I told the clerk she was like ok, so she didn't care anyway.
