Having stayed here before what I can stay is I feel very, very comfortble when I stay here. The rooms are excellent and the staff are all extremely friendly. The hotel is close to the centre and very good restaurants are to be found within a five minute radius. All in all a fine place to stay.

Spacious room with luxury bathroom. Hotel situated on canal side in historic centre, but quiet. Generous choice at breakfast.
Staff aimed to helpful, but did not know about current diversion of nearest tram service due to road works.

If you want to visit the center of Gent the location of this hotel is perfect. The children can even have a swim on one of the rooftops when it's nice weather.
The way to our room wasn't very nice; through the lobby and a hallway, then outside at the back, down an outside stairs, across the entrance of the parking garage, up in an elevator.
