Pros (+) The room was excellent, easily the nicest I've stayed at in Vietnam. The staff was extremely polite and attentive, they offered suggestions for dining and drinks in the area, and allowed motorbikes to be parked in the building for security's sake. I've paid ten times as much for half the experience and comfort in the US. If I return to Halong City I will *definitely* stay at Starlight Hotel again!
Cons (-) The hotel is on a very small connector road between two through streets, if you're not using GPS or are aware of its exact location it would be very easy to pass by.
