Hidden Treasure
Beautiful! Rooms and lobby decorated in true French details. You would never find something at this level in France for this price! The cleanliness of this place is incredible, especially when it is in an alley. The details to small pleasures like the amenities in the bathroom show thoughtful consideration to their guests. The Staff were so helpful and kind especially helping with getting a taxi at the wee hours of the morning to get to a very early flight. They even packed a breakfast bag for me. I was so grateful at 4am for that little bag of morning bliss.
Family with children on one floor and parents on another. In the middle of the night there were children arquing, and doors slaming happening in the room next door. Truly not ideal for families to be on separate floors. There should be a conversation from parents and at checkin from reception with children, that they need to treat it like a shared space and be aware of the other guests around them. Bed was a bit hard, but not unusual in Asia. I did stay in the standard single, which was small but sweet. If you have a problem with stairs this would not be the place for you. Having said that, the staff carry everything up for you. I did not have time to really check out the area, but I did get a chance to walk the alley in the evening and see the life of the locals with doors wide open. Welcome to Vietnam!

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice touches with fresh flowers, quaint rooms and good food.
Maybe provide slightly bigger breakfast options. People will not mind paying abit more.

This has got to be the best hotel stay I've had. The staff were very attentive, professional and helpful. Impeccable service! No 5 star hotel has ever come close to. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone heading HCMC! I'll be back again...

the owners and staff of Ma Maison were the warmest and best hosts ever! they took care of us wonderfully and made sure we really felt at home. who needs Lonely Planet when you've got such great hosts who'll tell you where exactly you can go and do for the best experience? :)

Ma-Maision is comfortable and warmth place to stay. Both hotel owners and staff provided a personal touch to the entire experience. Highly recommended for small group(2-4).
