Cons (-) I will never book through Kayak again. I accidentally booked my hotel for one night too long. I didn’t realize this until checking in. Even though the hotel said they would not charge for the extra night because I clearly wasn’t staying there, Kayak refused to work with the partner to refund me. This was an incredibly frustrating customer service experience.

Pros (+) From the incredible concierge and front desk staff to the warm service and incredible food poolside to the ultra-luxury modern (but not in a cheesy, cheap way) rooms that were comfortable and expertly furnished they did not miss a spot. I would recommend it as the #1 hotel in Honolulu hands down

Pros (+) The Modern is off the beaten trail and appreciated how relaxing the atmosphere was. The pool area is beautiful and calm, and if you need to relax further the sunset pool is just the ticket. All restaurants and bars are excellent in the Modern too.
