We found the Hotel to be very good in all aspects from service to accomadations. The hotel staff were very kind & helpful. I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends visiting Istanbul.
Nothing good to talk about it. It is disgusting annoying place. I slept very tight and could not wait till the sun rise and left the place. it is very expensive to what it is offering. It does not worth than us$40
The room, the furniture, the bath room. It is disgusting.
The breakfast was very nice. The location is very good, 15mins by taxi to airport, close to tram and walking distance to attractions.
The air conditioning didnt cool at all, the room was very hot, even with the door open. This brought in a lot of noise from outside since we are right in the city centre with a lot of noise from traffic and people passing by making it hard to relax or sleep properly. If the cooling system was good, it would have been a much better experience for us. The hotel staff dont speak much english so a bit difficult to communicate. The sea view room is actually a side sea view, you will need to lean out of the balcony to see it!
Breakfast. Rooftop terrace.
Noisy construction work. Limited English skills of staff.
The hotel was fairly close to the tramline. The service people were friendly.
The Aspen Hotel is not in the greatest of neighborhoods, but it is near the Tramline to get to the Istanbul attractions. The hotel is a bit shabby. The beds are hard as rocks to sleep on. The bathroom is moldy and the shower doors cause water to leak all over the floor. There are no outlets that are accessible for use. We had to move furniture to actually find one to use for our chargers, itouch, etc. Luckily we took an adaptor and a triple tape and made it work. The lighting is is no useful place. There is no lamp by the beds. The furniture needs rearranging to allow patrons to not bump into corners in the middle of the night. The breakfast is not bad except for the scrambled eggs and the lousy coffee.
The hotel was not bad. I liked my room but there was some smell. Unfortunately, swimming pool and sauna were closed due to maintenance. In addition, they had some problems with plumbing and they moved me to another hotel at my last day.
