The location is outstanding - a few meters from the tram stop, very close to Grand Bazaar and walking distance from a nuimber of attractions. The staff were fantastic, always helpful, friendly and accommodating.
Some minor points - only one English tv channel and bed not comfortable

There is very careful staff, comfortable, enough quiet and simultaneously close to historical center location. I could choose only couple of hotels from more than 150 hotels that range. It's very easy to find Hotel California even if you are in the first time in Istanbul.

Brilliant stay ,very close to central location just 1 street away from tram station , very nice helpful hotel staff.

Very helpful staff, excellent location, perfectly clean rooms, good aircon, wifi, good value for money. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.
A chair or two would have been useful in the room, but we managed without.
